MORE 9/11 NONSENSE ("Jersey Girl" Lies, Kerry Approves)
New York Post ^ | 10/20/04

Of all the Kerry-Edwards campaign's many recent deceitful ads, few are as blatantly false as the one that hit the airwaves yesterday.

It features Kristin Breitweiser of New Jersey — whose husband died in the World Trade Center and who has been carrying on ever since as if 9/11 is her personal property.

"During the [9/11] Commission hearings we learned the truth — we are no safer today," says Breitweiser.

In fact, America learned just the opposite in those hearings: The panel's unanimous final report says that "we are safer today," though we are not yet fully safe.

Which is precisely what President Bush has been saying all along.

[snip]

"I'm John Kerry and I approve this message," says the Democratic presidential candidate in the ad.

No doubt. Like so much of what he and his campaign are saying in these closing days of the race, the ad is a lie. And Breitweiser, sorry to say, is complicit in the misrepresentation.

Shame on John Kerry, sure.

But shame on Kristin Breitweiser, too.

The scumbag "Jersey Girls" would urinate all over the corpses of their "loved ones" if it helped them advance their selfish political agendas and personal ambitions. Those pigs make me want to throw up.

In 1999, George Soros's Open Society Institute gave 2 grants, totalling $393,000, to the Tides Foundation.

All you want to know about Soros here:

I saw that ad on MSNBC. But they also showed Ashley's story which can be viewed at
http://www.pfavoterfund.com which certainly has more power than the sell out widow woman ad. I started crying during it.

That said I tried to contribute at the Ashley story's site (Progress for America-voter fund), and couldn't get it to take my $$. I never have a problem at the swiftvets site, and it was rather maddening to try to give them money to run the ad in the swing states, and not be able to.

Isn't this one of the same 9/11 widows who made all the scenes at the hearings? I will refrain from stating my disgust.

Yep, another grieving WTC widow with a political agenda. Imagine she's one of those that won't settle for the 1.5-4.5 million and is part of the lawsuit.
I'm sad for each and every one of their losses, but they don't need to politicize it 3= years after the fact. Besides, if JF'n was prez on 9/11, I'll bet they wouldn't have got a dime in compensation.

"Kristin could have at least brushed her hair for the commercial.

Think there's some psychological explanation for the sloppiness we've seen exhibited by Moore, Garafolo and others? Now this Ms. Bigtime Victim. Maybe it's meant to send a message like: "Look what you've done to me, President Bush, look at me! I'm so depressed I can't even brush my hair!"

I just want to add that this woman may be stuck in the "blaming" part of grief. I don't mean to minimize her loss. But the people manipulating her are despicable.

How can you tell when Kerry is lying? When his lips are moving. I've never heard a candidate lie so constantly about everything as Kerry does. No, not even Clinton lied like that, and Slick Willy was the poster child for dissembling. The man (Kerry) is incapable of telling the truth...except for stating that he married up.

Kristin Breitweiser spoke of her disappointment in the press, complaining to one journalist, "I've been scheduled to go on 'Meet the Press' and 'Hardball' so many times, and I'm always canceled."

John Edwards entered to great applause with his guest, Kristin Breitweiser. "When John Kerry is president, we will find where the terrorists are and question them," he said.

Kristen Breitweiser listens as she and five families of 9/11 victims hold a news conference Tuesday in Washington to endorse Sen. John Kerry in the 2004 presidential race.

"President Bush thwarted our attempts at every turn" The widows known as the "Jersey Girls" changed history by demanding an independent 9/11 investigation.

Breitweiser had trained to be a lawyer, just three days into her career at a firm specializing in divorce, she quit the profession, finding it corrosive to her psyche.

N.J. lawyer Kristin Breitweiser, have long been bitter critics of the president. They accused him of attempting to politicize Sept. 11 earlier this year when his campaign aired television commercials featuring fleeting glimpses of Ground Zero images, including that of firefighters carrying a flag-draped coffin out of the rubble.

"After 3,000 were murdered on his watch, it seems that takes an awful lot of audacity," Ms. Breitweiser said at the time.
