Teresa Heinz-Kerry Attacks Laura Bush
The Wasington Dispatch ^ | October 20, 2004

Posted on 10/20/2004 12:21:20 PM PDT by NewMediaFan

Teresa Heinz Kerry has been quiet of late and a comment published in the USA Today shows why the Kerry campaign has had her under wraps. In response to a question on how she would be different from Laura Bush, the would be First Lady goes on the attack.

Heinz-Kerry tells the interviewer, “Well, you know, I don't know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good. But I don't know that she's ever had a real job — I mean, since she's been grown up. So her experience and her validation comes from important things, but different things. And I'm older, and my validation of what I do and what I believe and my experience is a little bit bigger — because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about.”

So—if I read this correctly Teresa Heinz-Kerry touts her “experience” over the unemployed slacker Laura Bush. Teresa’s “experience” must have kicked in with her “that’s not a criticism of her” after-the-fact shallow disclaimer.

Heinz-Kerry touts her age and experience over Laura Bush in this rambling interview. It would make sense that one with experience would have dispatched one of her lackeys to look up First Lady Laura Bush’s bio and she could have been told that Mrs. Bush has been a teacher and a librarian before making such an ignorant statement.

Wasn't Laura Bush a librarian? Guess books are just for the common folk.

When you are rich like TeREHza you can hire some little people to read books for you, right?

If Teresa Heinz thinks that Laura Bush has never "had a real job" then I can only imagine what she must say about her own husband, John Kerry.

Has Kerry ever had a job that didn't come with a government paycheck..?

Oh wait, nevermind...
Teresa's husband, according to her, is John Heinz.

Books are for Conservatives and will make a Conservative out of you. Naturally, Liberals regard books as poison.

"But I don't know that she [Laura] has ever had a real job — I mean, since she's been grown up." - Mama T.

The Heinz-Kerry's attempts to come off as "men of the people" never ceases to amuse.

THK's "real job" has been marrying rich and powerful men.

I'll take Laura Bush's "librarian" over THK's gold-digger any day.

Gold-digger: high priced whore with only one customer.

I'd like to see the text of that so-called apology. I'll bet it's anything but.

THK has had a job! She has been a practicing member of the world's oldest profession and done quite well for herself!
Laura Bush has taught school - that is a real job!
THK should keep her mouth shut!

Not that I am aware of , although some government paychecks may have come from other than the USA government!!!!

Help fight the:

Unholy Alliance

by David Horowitz
Hardcover - (September 2004) - $27.95

In this tour de force on the most important issue of our time, David Horowitz, confronts the paradox of how so many Americans, including the leadership of the Democratic Party, could turn against the War on Terror. He finds an answer in a political Left that shares a view of America as the “Great Satan” with America’s radical Islamic enemies. In a remarkable exploration of the “Mind of the Left,” Horowitz traces the evolution of American radicalism from its Communist past to its “anti-war” present. He then shows how this Left was able to turn the Democratic Party presidential campaign around and reshape its views on the War on Terror.
