As a relatively disinterested Mets fan, I must point out that all the way back in Spring Training, the Yankees' central worry was their October pitching. And that's what bit them in the butt last night.

I saw on TV that George sprained his arm and is having trouble writing checks. :)

The Emporer might not be dead yet, but he sure is on his way. I'm predicting a Sox sweep of the WS. They've already made history in the past 2 nights, why not push for one more? Ha!!!

It's those ex-Rangers.

A-Rod and Kevin Brown did nothing for the Yankees in the Red Sox series.

Biggest choke in sports history ....

Some folks may agree with that statement. I don't. Need I remind people.

26 World Series Championships and 39 AL pennants.

The New York Yankees are the most successful sports team/franchise in the history of sports. Boston deserves all the credit for coming back down three games to none and winning the series. But this is only one season.

The Yankees will be back and they will be champs again. Btw, George Steinbrenner is a great owner. He has put together some of the best teams in baseball history. Look for the Yanks to pick up at least two quality starters for next season.

Paying those two pitchers last night $15million apiece per year tells me someone is crazy.

Kinda hoping Steinbrenner fires Torre, but it's not gonna happen. My team, the Mariners, is looking for a manager. I'm still mourning Piniella.

I hate the Yankees but, to give him his due, everything I have read by people who know him says that Steinbrenner is a victim of bad press. He's tough to work for (duh!) but charitable and honest.

I still hate the Yankees though
