Ted Kennedy's father-in-law is former Judge Edmond Reggie, one of the most corrupt judges in the history of the state of Louisiana. Reggie was "in bed" with former Governor Edwin Edwards on many of Edwards illegal deals. Unfortunately, many involved with Edwards did not go to jail like the former governor did and people like Edmond Reggie remain free to continue exerting their influence in state and local bidding, license approvals, etc.


While I have only met Vicki Reggie Kennedy once while she was dining in a restaurant owned by her brother Fred, I must say that Fred Reggie is one on those "apples that fell far from the tree". Fred Reggie is one of the finest gentlemen that you will ever meet. He closed his restaurant and he dedicates himself to working full time for St. Jude Childrens Hospital. He has not followed in his fathers footsteps.

I'm not defending Vicki at all. The fact that she would marry Ted Kennedy tells me all that I need to know about her ethics. They are probably much like those of her corrupt father.

Spence Abraham has consistently been proud of his heritage.

 The former Michigan senator and attorney said his grandparents came from Lebanon to America in search of opportunity. Abraham's father worked as an auto worker in Lansing for 20 years. Abraham was the first child to go to college, landing at Michigan State University.    Siblani said he admires in particular how the 20-year political veteran embraces his heritage.

   "People who are successful usually distance themselves, especially in a community that is not as powerful as it should be," Siblani said. "Spence doesn't miss an opportunity -- on TV or in debates or in the community -- to mention that he is proud of his culture and proud of his heritage."

The fact that Vicki married Ted Kennedy tells me that she does not share the ethics that her brother Fred does.
