For those of you who may not have seen this, please take a moment and look at this link.

My Dad died Saturday night. While on hospice care, he asked Friday afternoon to go vote so we got an ambulance and took him to the Barbara Bush library to vote.

The pictures of him voting from the inside of the ambulance. I've posted most of the pictures for everyone since I am so very proud of him. He went into a coma just a couple of hours after he voted and he died the following day.

I am so proud of him, I want everyone to see him. Please forgive this posted on most election or poll threads, but if this dying man thought it was important enough to vote, then I sure hope you guys can get all your friends out to do it.

He thought it was important enough to get out the vote that he allowed me to post these pictures, in case there were some who wondered how they would find the time to get out and vote.

If he can get out and do it, so can your friends and neighbors. ( I know you guys will be out voting anyway)

Do you guys think the President would like a copy of these pictures?

Tammy

Real Clear Politics now has Bush up by 3.3. However, their composite is influenced by the AP poll, which is the only poll being used to show Kerry ahead, but their sampling data are now 5 days behind (10/18-20/04). I wonder what their most recent data show?

Correct. If you discount the AP poll, Bush is up by 4.0.

Kerry is an empty shirt. "All hat and no cattle". A dillettante. Non-alcoholic beer. Fat-free cookies. Free-range chicken. Organically-grown fruits and vegetables. PETA-approved synthetic leather. CFC-free aerosol.

A Francophile. A deluded multilateralist. A screaming-to-announce-his-pacifism-to-the-world acolyte of Ted Kennedy and Jimmy Carter. The poster child for the "Blame America" crowd.

A phony intellectual whom Bush has beaten in the IQ department (125-130 for Dubya and about 120 for Messr. Kerry). A "paralysis by overanalysis" wannabe and never- held-an-executive-leadership-position-in-his-life-kind-of guy.

Oh, and apparently a never-met-with-the-entire-United-Nations-Security-Council-for-deep-meaningful-foreign-policy-discussions sort of person.

I wonder if those "meetings" were seared, seared into his memory.

Just like Bush, who only allows pre-screened public to his chat groups, so he can't be challenged with any tough, unexpected questions.

Few people here have a problem with the Left asking questions, as long as show enough respect to seriously listen to an answer.

Those few on the left capable of such dialog are going the way of Zel Miller.

The left seems hell bent on seeing alternate points of view as bigotry. Ironically if you want to see a real a bigot, find a mirror friend.

The delusions of the shallow minded lead to posts/responses like this one from 'Contemplation'.

He or she is a victim of emotional conclusions , posting as an intellectual & logical sophist...

Ashes and the smell of dead flesh never entered his /her nostrils , hence the horrors of 9 11 did not happen and /or is ignored by such partisan politically driven individual(s).

Hey, Contemplation! You sure made some excellent points, allright. Tell you what, I'll be available to discuss them with you all day next Tuesday. Just ping me beginning about 6 a.m., your time, and keep it up until I respond at about 8 p.m., your time. Don't leave the terminal, please. I don't want to miss any more of your brilliant analysis!

Unless, of course, you've already voted, in which case you can go and jump in the lake (My concern for the senibilities of younger Freepers precludes my saying what I really think of you).

try this, do Google search for terms: Nobel laureates science + economics or law officers or teachers + Bush + Kerry : YOU TOO will discover that all those groups, with global respect for accomplishment and intellect, support Kerry overwhelmingly !!!!

Law(yers) officers? Yes to shady lawyers, I don't think so for law enforcement officers - Bush all the way.

Teachers? Academics do not live in the real world. K - Grade 12 do not like being held accountable, especially the teacher unions.

Nobel prize winners? Jimmy Carter that silly rabbit! Nobel prizes comes from Norway a bastion of socialism.

Goodbye Zot boy!

If you look at the Gallup data, people with post-graduate degrees do support Kerry in larger numbers. The data also shows those with higher incomes support Bush. I would hypothesize that the stereotypical Kerry supporter is unemployed idiot with a post-graduate degree.

Dear Notwithstanding,

"52-46 for Bush when Nader is out of the picture.
"51-46 when Nader is in the picture."

You noticed that, too, huh? That shows up in poll after poll. It's even reflected in the RCP averages, with President Bush having a bigger margin head-to-head than 3-way.

I'm starting to think that most of the folks who would vote for Nader are highly-disaffected Dems who would rather vote for W than for Kerry, if they had no choice to vote for Nader.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I challenge anyone out there in 'Free Repulic' land to enter any discussion with opposed viewpoints, and have to use the tools of fact and knowledge, rather than innuendo.

If I could understand the gibberish you wrote, I would do something.

"As for your statement regarding intellectuals supporting Kerry, I am sure you could find many intellectuals that supported Hitler. Would you like to try another worthless point?"

Bingo, good one. Hitler's heros were intellectuals, such as the infamous Nietsche, Schoepenaur, and Wagner. Hitler was pretty damn well read himself, especially in history.

Then of course you have Mao, Lenin, Marx, etc, all intellectuals whose ideas and actions led to even worse genocide than Hitler.

Many intellectuals are morons when it comes to basic morality.
