President Bush is a good man, period.

(pics on the thread)

[...]The president was finishing his speech, and Sarah tells me, "I need some water. I'm blacking out." We had spent four hours standing in the sun, and despite her regularly drinking the water that was passed out throughout the event, the sun took its toll. Sarah was wedged into a narrow angle where two fences meet, and the place was packed. Now that the president was leaving the stage, the people handing out the water were gone. I felt kind of useless as a husband. There was no room to sit her down. There was no water. I was just hoping the president would get by, and crowd would begin to move, and I could do something.

The president came around shaking hands, moving toward our position. He shook my hand and those of people around, when I see his head suddenly turn in Sarah's direction. The President of the United States of America immediately recognized that Sarah was not well. He stopped all he was doing to focus his attention on her. He steadied her with both hands, and asked, "Are you OK?" At this point, she can't see. She can still hear, but thinks it's me talking to her. She said, "No." The President asked her, "Do you want me to get you some water?" She said, "Yes." Immediately the president spun around and yelled to his staff, "Get this lady some water now!"

In a few seconds, the secret service and his staff had several cups of water and an ice pack in our hands. Someone is on the radio calling for medical attention. In a few seconds, eight or nine Brevard County Fire and Rescue people come running around the front of the crowd.

Goosebumps. President Bush IS a good man, and a stud muffin to boot.

Kerry's reaction would have been to call over the photographers FIRST, and then ask her if she was ok.

Is there anyway to get on the President's mailing list for Christmas cards?

THey say you can tell about a person by the way the animals treat him and vice versa.

The Clintons had a dog and cat because it was good for their image. I suppose, if Elected, Kerry will have to have the Secret Service do his shopping and buy an animal or two.

It is obvious why President Bush has pets.

What are you complaining about? Women sadly lose out big time in this entertainment department!

LOL! Well, considering that I think Laura is the most beautiful (and sexiest --- ooh, did I really say that?) woman ever to be First Lady, I'd like to see her in something other than her beautiful, classy outfits. In other words, I'd like to see her 'with her hair down' every now and then.

Good point. Animals are a fantastic indicator and good judges, too. It is sad, however, to recall how the the Clintons got rid of Socks and how Buddy was killed.

What is worse, is that they treated their friends even worse.

Just ask Vince or Ron. Oh, wait, we can't, they are dead.

Yes, she is agreeably the most beautiful, composed, intelligent woman I've seen in a long time. One look at her and I bet a guy would be sure he could spend the rest of his life with her.

Sorry, though, being who I am, I really need this sort -

I like the SS looking away and the old lady staring in adoration while he tokes on the world's longest joint.

You are too funny, Lady Jag!

I'm sure President Bush would not look out of place if he was in your picture of those Navy boys.

Doesn't this Love Fest picture look airbrushed or Shop'd? If not, this is the best picture of Bridezilla I've seen, but I can't tell if his eyes are open or shut.

He may be on the trail to score, but I doubt it's weed he's after.
