Am working to get folks from Marietta area. Looking very forward to going one last extra mile (before the election) for the President and our Troops against the lying, socialist, communist and really strange people who protest them.
That's "rough" territory for us little ole grammas to go into alone at night! Anyone heading down from the Alpharetta/Roswell area that I can hook up to travel with??
HAVE SIGN..... WILL TRAVEL!
Can you give me more details. Where to meet etc...
I'm going to go scope out the protest site either late tonight or mid-day tomorrow, depending on how my schedule pans out. As soon as I can figure out a good place for parking, meeting, what have you, I will pass it on.
pinging to watch!
I am going to try real hard to be there. Unlike the libbies, I would guess that most of us have jobs that run up to or past 5:00. I will just show up to work early so I can leave early and be there! And I even still have my signs from an earlier Freeping.
TBarnett34:
If you find a good parking space, let me know. I am definately coming. Thanks for the sign making tutorial. I appreciate it and am heading out to Kinko's tomorrow.
Thanks. Look forward to seeing you there.
Likewise! Bring your camera! ;)
I just got off the phone with the Atlanta police department -- we're good to go! Just remember: No blocking the street, no blocking pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk, and be respectful and courteous!
Going to go scope out the protest site now to find parking. Back in a bit!
I went and scoped out the site for the Freep, and it's going to be a tight fit there.
There are a few options as far as getting yourself to the spot for the Freep. One option is to ride MARTA to the Five Points Station -- which will pop you out almost exactly at the intersection of Peachtree and Marietta. Another option will be to utilize the many parking lots at the intersections of Peachtree and Mitchell or Peachtree and Garnett. Costs for the lots range anywhere from $3 to $7.
As far as organizing our group goes, if you are coming, please send me FReepmail and I will return your message with my cell phone number. I'd like us to all be in the area 10 minutes before the protest is scheduled to begin (4:50pm) so that we can stake out a prime spot.
Apparently, this intersection is a popular spot for protestors -- we may be headed deep into enemy territory. If you have a camera or videocamera, I suggest bringing it -- not only to take pictures of us mid-Freep, but as a deterrant towards possibly violent leftists (we do know how much the Democrats love peace, after all!).
See y'all tomorrow, and do not hesitate to reply here or FReepmail me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
We will be praying for the Lord to protect you guys! Go Freepers!
Ah, thats quite alright :) Prayers for your husband's continued recovery!
Thanks, he is a walking miracle, he is with us today thanks to prayers first and good doctors second!
Anyone up for one more Thursday? It can't hurt to rub a little salt in the wound, can it?
We can wait a week to see if they keep coming back even after their embarrasing defeat.
Tatze,
Can you let us get ONE night's sleep? Ha ha ha.
GeorgiaBushie was on Barrett Pkway. yesterday with a copy of my sign "Peace through Strength -- Libya heard us" and I happened to drive by. I stopped and gave her a Bush placard...the woman was in the rain, doing her thing!!
Will let you know by Thurs.
Im not ready to go back out tomorrow, but if they keep thier Thursday schedule, we can go next Thursday.
Will ping my Georgia list when I get home, the list is on my home hard drive and I'm at the college right now.
This message brought to you by FREEPNORAD's KerryTrack section. If anyone wants on or off this ping list, say so here or by freepmail. Please direct questions to Mr. Silverback or ChadFairbanks.
