WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush outpolled Democratic challenger John Kerry by 8 points among likely Florida voters surveyed in a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday, but other polls indicated a tighter race.
In the CNN poll, Bush had 51 percent and Kerry 43 percent among likely voters interviewed. The result was similar among registered voters: 51 percent for Bush and 42 percent for Kerry. Independent candidate Ralph Nader drew the support of 1 percent of respondents in both categories.

But the dims will still challenge the outcome unless the spread is in double digits.

Haha, and I thought a bigger turnout usually meant that dope smoking slackers were going out for cheetos and decided to vote, maybe the Rats should be careful what they wish for in getting out the vote, it may just mean a bigger victory for Bush.

that army of lawyers will have to look elsewhere for their scandal You know what would be cool? A class action lawsuit against the Democrat party with Teresa, Soros, McAuliffe, Dan Rather and Michael Moore named as co-defendants.

I personally detest 'class-action' lawsuits but I'd go for that one

...what I commented to a
post about another new poll report a few minutes ago:
"While you're at it, take a look at this! Democrats: don't bother. ...9 points! Florida is voting for President Bush. Why drive yourselves all the way to the polls when you all deserve a rest. You owe it to yourselves to take the day off. It won't do any good if you tire yourselves with all of this Election stuff, anyway."

We know that the Democrats owe it to
themselves to avoid hurting
themselves by wasting their time and resources on their lost Campaign, when they could more intelligently spend it all on
themselves. If they don't pay attention to the
self, they just might further lose their sense of
self.

You're right. We should talk to Floridian undecideds and Democrats enough to get that little ol' two percent needed to make it a double-digit lead. ...shouldn't take but a day or two.
More of this from the President should do it.

When the army of DNC lawyers don't vote, the 51-42 number changes to 65-31.

If I remember correctly, CNN/USA Today/Gallup was very accurate in 2000.
I am not sure how they did with state polling, but nationally they did well.

but other polls indicated a tighter race.So you're saying we should disregard your poll? Your poll was conducted by a dozen monkeys and would have come out differently if you had used a dozen chimpanzees instead?
I know. You're just being genorous to the other polling orginizations. That's nice.
