No no no! This is politically incorrect! There are no genetic differences between men and women! It's all just "social oppression" of women! Don't you know that the only hard-wired genetic differences are between straights and gays??!! This study must be repressed! Get the DNC to threaten to sue immediately!!!

They had to do a study to figure this out? What a bunch of maroons.

I have always found these revelations to be funny. If you really think about early America, for example, Women were the teachers, doctors, nurses, cooks, seamstresses, farmers, child bearers. And then they are amazed that women have the ability to be Caregivers.

Before you men get up in arms, being hunter gatherers, and protectors was a very dangerous job.

Motherhood helps learning and memory

On the contrary, having kids absolutely destroyed my brain!

On a more serious note, that experiment with taking young monkeys away from their mothers at various ages is pointless and unethical. That work was done many years ago by Harlow et al. and the effects of maternal deprivation are already very, very well-established. I can't believe anybody would have funded this study. Are these people too lazy to think of something original to write their dissertations about?

Good argument for moms staying at home and staying very close & attached to their kids, at least while they're infants & toddlers.

Dr. Craig Kinsley made his findings "In work with RATS".
Contemporary science has yet to expand it to CANs mothers...

I know we still have a week to go before we can claim victory, but I think some people on the list will be interested in this. It helps confirm some of the key assumptions of evolutionary psychology.
