Electoral College Added to Michael Moore Speaking Tour

Michael Moore, the prominent documentarist, today announced that his Slacker Uprising Tour of American universities will visit the campus of the Electoral College on Saturday night, after a stop at Lehigh University on Friday.

"I suddenly realized that I'm wasting my time talking at other colleges," said Mr. Moore, "not only because the liberal slackers won't wake from their hangovers in time to vote, but also because their vote doesn't really count. The only college that matters is E.C."

A spokesman for the provost's office said Mr. Moore will receive his traditional honorarium of $35,000, much of which covers the cost of insurance and freight incurred in getting the filmmaker to the college.

"None of the money goes to my bank account," said Mr. Moore. "It's all eaten up in tour expenses."

You thought it was real by looking at the title?

$35,000 sure does buy a lot of Old Milwaukee and cheese fries.

"None of the money goes to my bank account," said Mr. Moore. "It's all eaten up in tour expenses."

It costs Moore $35,000 in expenses to speak at a university?
If it costs that much to fly his substantial backside around, then he must really weigh more than I thought. Is he really that naive to think we are stupid enough to believe this bull?

Any college or university that would play money to this buffoon to speak has lost all credibility as an institution of higher learning.

Yeah, I'm embarrassed to say I did -- obviously I wasn't really thinking when I clicked.

"Yeah, I'm embarrassed to say I did"

I thought it was a real story. It sounded like the kind of goofy stuff MM would say trying to sound funny.

Boy do I feel stupid!

I've already emailed this to Hannity. It's outrageous that the parents of students at the Electoral College, paying higher and higher tuition, are going to be paying Micheal Moore for his lies. This is crazy.

Me too. It really does sound like the kind of outrageous thing that Michael Moore would do. I was going to ask "Is this legal?" then realized it was a joke. I guess I'm in good company anyway!
