IRAQ'S WEAPONS IN SYRIA: SENIOR SYRIAN JOURNALIST

A senior Syrian journalist reports Iraq WMD located in three Syrian sites

06 January, 2004

AFP

Nizar Nayuf (Nayyouf-Nayyuf), a Syrian journalist who recently defected from Syria to Western Europe and is known for bravely challenging the Syrian regime, said in a letter Monday, January 5, to Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf,” that he knows the three sites where Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) are kept. The storage places are:

click for images of Iraq's WMD location in Syria : http://www.2la.org/syria/wmd.html

-1- Tunnels dug under the town of al-Baida near the city of Hama in northern Syria. These tunnels are an integral part of an underground factory, built by the North Koreans, for producing Syrian Scud missiles. Iraqi chemical weapons and long-range missiles are stored in these tunnels.

-2- The village of Tal Snan, north of the town of Salamija, where there is a big Syrian air force camp. Vital parts of Iraq's WMD are stored there.

-3-. The city of Sjinsjar on the Syrian border with the Lebanon, south of Homs city.

Nayouf writes that the transfer of Iraqi WMD to Syria was organized by the commanders of Saddam Hussein's Special Republican Guard, including General Shalish, with the help of Assif Shoakat , Bashar Assad's cousin. Shoakat is the CEO of Bhaha, an import/export company owned by the Assad family.

In February 2003, a month before America's invasion in Iraq, very few are aware about the efforts to bring the Weapons of Mass Destruction from Iraq to Syria, and the personal involvement of Bashar Assad and his family in the operation. Nayouf, who has won prizes for journalistic integrity, says he wrote his letter because he has terminal cancer.

"If this is fully exposed, Kerry should go down in flames!"

When might that be? Some time next September? Nothing is going to happen with any of these stories that will take him down before next Tuesday. After that, the big story is likely to be about the discontent domestically.

That's why we need the 'bunker buster' bomb under development.

Thanks for keeping this thing and article on the burner. This information is certainly more "credible than than the Kerry NYTimes Story!

Important read backhoe's reply in:http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1259767/posts

Suspect Russians helped Saddam get those WMDs and explosives out of Iraq to Syria.

"...some 1400 vehicles heading for Syria just prior to our invasion."

That wasn't a convoy of WMD, they were just hauling out Saddam's savings account.(Now being used to fund terrorist activities against U.S. coalition troops in Iraq)

I seem to remember an Israeli report before the war that they saw the trucks leaving for Syria...anybody else remember this?

Yes,of course, I thought this was common knowledge. My question is why nobody ever raises the fact that the charade of the UN security counsel "debates" were nothing more than a pretext for hiding weapons and buying Saddam more time.

Rush to war, my a**. My complaint has always been that we didnt move in on that vermin fast enough and wasted a good three months being stonewalled and conned by the French, Syria and the rest of the UN Security Counsel gas bags who had NO intention of helping us out and that, I know, was clear to Bush for the get go.

"I also seem to recall some Russians getting shot up near the Iraq/Syria border."

If memory serves, Russia also lodged a complaint against Bush regarding this incident.

Of course we don't know if this is true, but we might have known by now if the media were as interested in defending Bush as they are in undermining him. All the resources devoted to investigating Bush's NG record, or the Abu Ghraib scandal, could have gone towards this story, and maybe we'd have answers by now to where the WMD's went.

Yes. They were the last "diplomatic delegation" to leave and we "accidentally" killed some of them.

The story describes the Russian convoy as consisting of "8 cars," which doesn't seem a likely conduit for WMD's or 380 tons of explosives.

Edwards told us, if we really want to know Yaaawn, just spend a couple minutes with the men who served with him in Vietnam. They have spent the last 120 days making sure the American People don’t hear from those very men who overwhelmingly despise him. Just as he lied about the atrocities of our honorable Vietnam Vets 30 years ago, he accepts the word of the corrupt United Nations to denigrate today’s Brave Soldiers. Simply because he lied about his heroics to hide the fact that he was a coward, he attacks those who actually fight in the face of death. This is a cowardice and psychosis that defies words.

Months ago, we found that he lied about his trip into Cambodia on Christmas eve that was “seared, seared” into his memory. We found beyond a shadow of doubt that he was never in Cambodia and violating International Law under Nixon’s orders like he said he was. These were lies that he manufactured to damage the Military and bring down a Presidency. He was lauded in the public and he convinced me at the time that he was speaking the truth. Why should anyone question a decorated officer who was actually there? He was lying.

This is a different world and we don’t automatically believe the words of the Old York Times or DNCBS. Our antennas automatically go up to test their fables. The only person in this Country who automatically believed those words as Gospel was Yaaawn Cut & Ran Kerry. His first last and foremost reflex is to go attack the Military. He blames the troops of not guarding the missing explosives as if this is some war crime. Not only does he trash them in his speeches in the most disgraceful accusations, he makes a commercial attacking them. Only one explosive problem.

Just as he has attacked our troops with the, “wrong war, wrong time, wrong place,” and calling our allies who have paid the ultimate sacrifice the, “coerced and bribed” he denigrates our troops on the ground. Just as he called Allawi an American Puppet to make this war illegal, he shames our Troops as he did our Vietnam Vets. Now he calls this a growing scandal, yes it is and he is sitting right on top of the burning dynamite. If this attack machine weren’t running for President he would be run out of town, and tarred and feathered.

Now we find that the weapons not only weren’t there when we arrived, but the Russians most likely took them to Syria with the WMD’s. WMD’s, the lies of the CIA and George W Bush??? Yes, the Russians took these explosives with much of Saddamn’s most powerful weaponry to Syria and other countries and that is where the WMDs are.

So, not only could our troops do absolutely nothing about these explosives because they were already gone, but we have found the WMD’s that Mike Mooreon and the rest of the Stone-age press has been razing the President for. We found no WMD’s because Putin had taken them across the border to save his own hide and hurt our President. Paging Mr Putin!!

These facts need to come out, but the largest fact exposed is Yaawn does not have the character or stature to be President of The United States. To be in charge of the Military, the minimum requirement is to respect the Military and the sacrifices and protection they provide us. The absolute minimum that should be required is to realize that the 750+ Soldiers who died in action in Iraq, did it to provide him the Freedom to run for the highest office in the world. The least that he could do for them is to respect them for doing things he never could. His latest attack commercial disqualifies him for the office of Commander in Chief.

Pray for W and Our Election
