I have been here three years and have never posted a thread (4,297 replies) so I hope I will be forgiven this vanity.
Lt.Col. Nettles (U.S. Army Reserves)is a friend of mine and ran for County Attorney in the Republican Primary (Ft. Bend County, Texas) some years ago where he was defeated by our local good old boy RINO.
I am posting this with his permission, and have only correct a little spelling and a run on sentence. The Col. bright as he is, is still an aggie and needs our help! ;-) A prayer sent his way would be nice.

Here's hoping we kill a thousand rabid Islamists in Mr. Seitz's name.

To a great American, Ed Seitz, from just a little part of the war The MSM would have you believe this is the state of the whole war.

God bless Lt. Col. Nettles. God bless them all. And the Seitz family as well as all the of families who have lost loved ones in the name of freedom.
This happened at the base where I was posted for my first five months here and I know exactly where that shower trailer is.
Reading this account is very close to "home" for me. I can visulaize it all too well. We all realize that this could happen to any of us, but we have to put that aside and keep on going.

Very moving story, LT.Col. Thanks for sharing. I pray you discover the reason God spared your life that day.
Our gratitude to both you and Ed Seitz for your service to this country.

"visulaize" = visualize.
This is what happens when a co-worker interrupts me while I'm posting on FR.
Some people just don't understand priorities.

Wow.
I had read all the way through, then read your comments before realizing who this was. A friend of mine worked for Bently on that campaign and I had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times. Very nice guy, damn shame he lost that race.
Anyways, definitely sending prayers for him, Mr. Seitz and his family, and all of our troops currently in harm's way over in Iraq.
Thanks for posting this.

I've worked with DSS agents off and on during my career and some of my troops went into that career field after military retirement .....they are all good serious men and women who'll complete their mission . Count on em.....
Bless all who go in harms way for the security of our nation......

LTC Nettles just responded again and said to be sure I added that these were his thoughts and opinions and he was not speaking on behalf of the Army nor Coalition forces.
