Also today (Saturday), former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will headline a Republican National Committee Victory 2004 rally at 6:15 p.m. at the North Allegheny County Victory Center, 125 Hillvue Lane, McCandless.
Edwards, the running mate of Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, will hold a Get Out the Vote rally Sunday outside the Kerry-Edwards campaign headquarters at 550 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Tickets are available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the PA Victory '04 Headquarters, 225 Ross St., Downtown, and at Kukovich for Senate headquarters, 550 E. The Bush rally Monday will take place at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown. The doors will open at about 7 a.m. and the president is expected to speak at 9:30 a.m., according to local organizers.
Allegheny County distribution centers for free tickets to the rally are the Tim Murphy for Congress headquarters, 4705 Library Road, Bethel Park, and the Victory Center at 15 Duff Road, Penn Hills. Other locations are: Beaver County Republican headquarters, 682 Third St., Beaver; Washington County Republican headquarters, 75 E. Maiden St., Washington; and Westmoreland Victory Greensburg office, 41 N. Main St., Greensburg. Thanks, m, for posting the details. Just got back in the house. I promised to help man the phone bank at the local hq. Now I'm sorry I pick those hours. :(
I have been told by fellow volunteers that the doors will now open at 6:30 am and close around 8:30 am - so plan accordingly . You can pick up tickets all day tomorrow. We had tons of people picking up tickets today. See you there
