What constitutes a "landslide"?
To me anything over 300 is a land slide
That Zogby is such a palestinian authority schill.
There's a new FOX poll: Bush 47% Kerry 45%.
270...anything else is gravy.
I don't know but on Wednesday morning I want to hear John Zogby explain how he was so completely wrong.
within the hour Fox/Opinion Dynamics came in with Bush at 47, a 3 pt drop since yesterday ... can't figure it
To me, 55% or more of the popular vote. Electoral college in the 350 range. Reagan re-election victory in 1984 was the last mandate from the voters.
New Fox poll will drop average lead to 3.0 from 3.3. Still better than down 3.
Nah, you need 270 to win. Over 500 is a landslide (aka Reagan over Mondale). Over 300 is simply a comfortable margin. I have been saying Bush will win by a comfortable margin for over three months, and it still looks like I'm gonna be right.
I think 300 - 305 is where he will end up.
Where did you see that? Fox has Bush up 50-45, and they said it was the final poll of the election.
Historically, a "landslide" is 10% or more.
My bad, I dont believe there new poll, something doesnt smell right with it.
They announced it on TV. It seems a couple other people have seen it too, based on the comments.
Clarification of post 14 -- If the winner defeats his closest opponent by 10% or more of the vote than that opponent has, that is a "landslide."
I've been predicting about 320-330. And I'm sticking to that guess (unless something earth shattering happens).
I'm still pushing for a landslide but I'll take a comfortable margin.
Ive been telling people that if you live in a solid blue state "get out and vote anyway" lets back up our electoral victory with a huge popular victory. Maybe we can force democrats to accept reality for a little while.
If a Democrat gets over 300, it's a landslide. If a Republican gets over 500, it's a tantrum by angry white men.
