I have absolutely NO doubt, whatsoever, that Soros is playing sugar-daddy to the LP. :-(
To: CWOJackson
Not officially I'm sure, but a nod and a wink and there is surely a way.

Wherelse are they getting all their money for these ad campaigns? I sure doubt it's from bake sales in California.
I'd be very interested to know in what areas they are running their ads. If you remember, buchanan spent almost all of his advertising money campaigning against President Bush in the hotly contested states.
It would be interesting to know if the LP is doing their most in the battleground states.

That is correct... If we withdrawl from Afganistan and Iraq right now, it is going to be real bloody over there if we leave. My guess if Bush wins Iran is next. It is going to be fought on three fronts. From Iraq, Afganistan, and Internally. Will fight with Iraq to attack Iran..

Don't forget the "Spitting Druid". He was my personal favorite.

"I'm a legitimate candidate from a legitimate party," he said at a gathering of about 25 people at a Clear Lake-area Fuddruckers. Not if you're drawing only 25 people.
Especially if it's their national convention.

I agree with you and others that this is not the time to risk putting Kerry into the White House. But let's never stoop as low as the left. There are anti-Nader websites that are simply there because they don't want Nader taking Democrat votes away. To me that type of politiking is disgusting - perhaps Democrats are in fact steeling Nader's votes? Maybe Nader deserves them more than the DemoRats.

Since I don't live in a battleground state,I don't know. But,as I said,their damned adds ARE on FNC;usually at dinnertime,or just afterwards!
Bady doesn't have that kind of money and neither does the LP.Someone IS bankrolling him;that's for sure and certain. My guess is Soros and/or Terry Kerry's Tides Foundation.
To: Drango
They've spent a lot of money in Washington state; radio stations and TV ads. Considering that they have no matching funds, they've suddenly found some VERY DEEP pockets.
I hope someone looks into this after the election. Something stinks.
To: Drango
Yeah but another 30 woulda come but they were too stoned to make it. I guess Fuddrucker's doesn't make good food for the munchies. The LP needs to stick to places where they sell Doritos and Oreos.

I think so. The one thing governments should spend money on - infrastructure - seems to be on the bottom of the priority pile. At any rate, in general we are too addicted to our "rights" to make our governments cut spending - our grandsons will mutter our names in derision. This is not a criticism of the war spending. I believe in fact Iraq compromised only 1/6th of the deficit in 2004.

Yes, but will anyone still care?
Voting Libertarian means never admitting that you're really a Demo-rat in disguise.
