This is an example of a compassionate Conservative, President Bush...

I don't know the story of this man. President Bush stopped and conversed with him for several moments.

They parted with an embrace (The man's wife's hand is touching President Bush)...

God bless the president.

He is genuine in his compassion and love for the American people. It comes through in his every gesture and word.

I am a watcher of body language. Ive been watching the way President Bush interacts with people when they are close as well as sKerry, including their own families. Its quite obvious to the most casual of observers that Bush's body language is comfortable, natural and easy. Hes a man that doesnt hide his emotions being very comfortable in his own skin. When he embraces someone he puts his heart into it. His eyes convey what he feels.
Kerry on the other hand is stiff, you can see that he has to think about his reaction. Even with his own family it looks forced and unnatural.
Bush is a what you see is what you get man: real, genuine love him or hate him...you dont have to guess. Personally I respect this trait in a person more than anything else.
Kerry is a hide behind a facade of a person...phony, manufactured,a Hollywood type production (small wonder they relate to him) and you never really know what is going on in his mind. Frankly not sure he does either.
Just watching the contrast in this respect between the two men...I need know nothing else about them...the choice is clear...George W Bush...a real man for real people living in a real world.

I was sitting her composing an anti-Kerry letter to the local paper when I got your ping. I just don't know what to say, in my lifetime I don't expect to have another President with the heart and soul of President Bush. I consider it, not only an honor and privilege to vote for him, but a duty to make the calls and walk the neighborhoods on his behalf.

That really is a sight to see, Howlin. Spent Friday sign-waving, and this just energizes me to stand out there even longer tomorrow.

Heh, same here. But Clinton was good at doing things like that for the camera and his fans ate it up.
Kerry has no charisma or "feel" for the people at all.

I feel the same way.

These pictures really show the heart of our President. Thanks for the ping, Howlin.

Thanks for posting the photos, tgslTakoma.

President Bush is "the" definition of compassionate conservative.

I was fortunate to photograph the President twice in one week. Last week in Melbourne,

and last night in Orlando.

Last night my wife and I were standing directly in front towards the left side of his podium.

(That's half of my face on the left edge of photo!)

Both times I was able to shake his hand and tell him that we love him and appreciate the work that he does.

After President Bush shook our hands, he continued down the line shaking hands. He took one step then returned to shake my hand again and thanked us for our continued prayers for him.

Everyone was thrilled to be there.

Thanks again, tgslTakoma for the post!

FRegards, and PRAY HARD!
