CIA IS OUT TO DESTROY OUR PRESIDENT
To The Point ^ | 10/29/2004 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 10/31/2004 12:45:51 PM PST by coffee260

Since new CIA Director Porter Goss blocked the October Surprise agency left-wingers had prepared against Bush (discussed in “Porter At The Pass” last week), they desperately rigged another one, working with Mohammad ElBaradei at the UN.

What nobody is focusing on in Al Qaqaagate is that the CIA is behind it. The anti-Bush lefties are now known as the “Rogue Weasels” at Langley, and they are frantic to do whatever they can to elect Kerry. They cooked up this entire phony “tons of missing explosives” scandal, sweet-talked the head of the UN’s nuclear inspection agency, ElBaradei, to carry their water and leak it to CBS -- which drooled at the opportunity to spring the story on election eve. They then briefed Kerry and prepared his instant assault on Bush once the surprise broke.

But some clever pro-Bush Langley folks, seeing they couldn’t spike the story at CBS, sweet-talked the New York Times into jumping the gun, spoiling the surprise and giving the Bush campaign time to tear the phony scandal apart. Then they leaked it to Drudge, whose website promptly blew the lid off the whole scam.

The Al Qaqaa scandal (the site of the “missing” explosives in Iraq is named Al Qaqaa – isn’t that just too beautiful?) becomes Al Qaqaagate, and Kerry ends up looking like the opportunist fool he is, so clueless he doesn’t realize he’s accusing American soldiers in Iraq of “incredible incompetence” rather than Bush.

This was the last gasp of the Rogue Weasels. Porter’s Purge is coming – upwards of eighty Bush-hating left-wing Kerry stooges are going to be fired at the CIA in November. Looks like the pro-America guys are going to be running the Company once again.

OK, Goss, clean 'em out.

Then transfer over to the State Dep't. That'll take longer.

I hope this is true.

Firing 80 clintonoid stooges would be only a start. But a good start.

If we could just persuade Giuliani to put in a couple of years at the FBI, we'd be in clover.

As for the State Department, I can't even begin to imagine who could clean it out.

Most folks think the CIA is a right-wing outfit. It is not. The CIA has been dominated by incompetent left-wing hyper-liberals for years. The worst mistake of George Bush’s presidency was not replacing Clinton holdover George Tenet as CIA Director. This is a guy responsible for the single greatest intelligence failure in US history (being unaware of 9-11), who sweet talked his way into Bush's confidence and was able to keep his job because he named the CIA Headquarters after his father.

(Drive along the George Washington Parkway in McLean, Virginia, and you'll see the exit for "The George Bush Center for Intelligence." Bush the Elder was a caretaker CIA Director for less than a year, January 30, 1976-January 20, 1977. The Center of course should have been named for the Agency's founder, Wild Bill Donovan.)

As explained in Tenet Down, Powell To Go (TTP Intel Bulletin, June 3, 2004), Bush only asked for Tenet’s resignation when Rummy said he would quit if Tenet wasn’t fired. The story told there is extraordinary so I encourage you to read the article again. As that article predicted last June, Porter Goss, Florida Congressman and chairman of the House Intel Committee, would replace Tenet.

GW secured Tenet’s resignation on June 3 but couldn’t get the Senate to confirm Goss until September 24. During those almost four months, the left-wing CIA bureaucracy waged a war against Goss’ confirmation. That war is a part of the open warfare being waged by the CIA against the re-election of George Bush and on behalf of John Kerry – as described in To The Point last week by Tony Blankley in Kerry and the CIA: Both Living in a September 10 World .

The key to understanding this war is that the CIA doesn’t simply live in a pre-September 11 world where terrorism is only a “nuisance” – it is that the CIA lives in a left-wing world, the same left-wing world as the State Department. Both worship at the Shrine of Accommodation, Appeasement, and Compromise. Both Langley and Foggy Bottom bureaucrats hate George Bush for alienating the Euroweenies and taking the fight to the Moslem terrorists. Both are working overtime to do what they can to secure Bush’s defeat.

The leader of this effort at the CIA is Paul Pillar. His 1983 book, Negotiating Peace was a paean to appeasement with the Soviets – and yes, he was one of the main guys at Langley supporting Gulbuddin. Pillar’s the guy who leaked the gloomy NIE (National Intelligence Estimate, or rather selected portions of it) on Iraq so Kerry could bash Bush with it. Pillar knew it was OBE (Overtaken By Events, obsolete) by the time it was written in July, much less when it was leaked in September, as it was based on research conducted in April – but all’s fair in war.

The bigtime question right now is: Can Porter Goss hold Pillar and his gang of CIA lefties off at the pass? It’s like an old Hopalong Cassidy movie: Can Hoppy head off the bad guys in time?

Here’s how desperate the bad guys are. Six days after Porter was sworn in as DCI (Director of Central Intelligence), at the September 30 morning staff meeting, he announced he was replacing four top-level positions, starting with Executive Director, the third-ranking spot under the Director himself and the Deputy Director. A. B. “Buzzy” Krongrad, Tenet’s ED, then announced his resignation, and Porter introduced his replacement Mike Kostiw.

Mike was the staff director for the House Subcommitte on Terrorism and had been with the CIA for 10 years in the 1970s. The next day, Pillar’s gang asked their buddies at the Washington Post to run a hit piece on Kostiw, dredging up an old shoplifting charge back in 1982. They gave the Posties all the private files of the investigation, which – even though Kostiw was exonerated – they managed to twist into character assassination. The hit piece appeared in the October 3 edition and Kostiw resigned the next day. It had taken the lefties five short days to knock Kostiw off.

All of Porter’s people – and Porter himself – now have bull’s eyes painted on their backs. Nonetheless, they are determined to root out the Pillar Gang and replace it with folks willing and able to wage the GWOT (Global War on Terrorism). Right now, however, the most crucial battle of all is to block Pillar’s plan to spring an October Surprise on President Bush.

The October Surprise is the CIA Inspector General’s 9-11 Report. It is a total whitewash of Tenet and other top CIA officials and attempts to place the blame on the Bush White House, naming specific Administration personnel. It is a political document far removed from an honest and objective assessment. Pillar is desperate to have it released, Goss will not and has threatened that should it be leaked, those responsible will not only be fired, they will be criminally prosecuted.

Somehow, though, a Langley bird has perched on Jane Harman’s shoulder, whispering into the Congresswoman’s ear that the report was being “suppressed.” She and her fellow Democrats are now baying to the moon about a “cover-up.”

Porter has managed to stop this phony scandal just in time. Pillar and his fellow conspirators are tearing-hair-out enraged. It’s wartime at Langley as you read this. If Porter wins this battle and Bush wins the election, the bull’s eyes will be on the lefties and we may have a CIA worth our respect once again.

A CIA that has no qualms about waging war on Moslem terrorists instead of accommodating them, or supporting them like Gulbuddin. There are many, many tough, dedicated, first-class folks at the CIA – but they have been sold out by their left-wing superiors who are doing their best to sell out the President of the United States.

Hold them off at the pass, Porter. With less than two weeks to go, we’re counting on you.

Maybe Newt Gingrich would be a good choice. He was on a panel that did some investigative work or some type of study concerning the State Dept about a year ago or so.

One thing for sure he knows where all of the Clinton Commies are hiding and how to get rid of them or where to put them so we can watch them so they cannot do America any harm.

How credible is the info on this one? Wheeler's name and Michael Ledeen's affiliation with that site (read: spook fingerprints all over it) suggest that the info could have some valid sources. Has this been reported elsewhere though?

Dr. Jack Wheeler's
The Pro-America, Pro-Capitalist, Pro-Western Civilization "Intellectual Ammunition Service" for Defenders of Liberty.
The Wall Street Journal called him "the originator of the Reagan Doctrine". The Washington Post called him "The Indiana Jones of the Right". Izvestiya, the organ of the Soviet Communist Party, called him an "ideological gangster".
"Dr. Jack" predicted the collapse of the former Soviet Union, ten years before it came about - and explained exactly how it would take place. He won a bet with a top-expert when the Berlin Wall fell.

In To The Point™, he'll tell you about the plans the Chinese Underground Church Movement has to send 100,000 Chinese Christian missionaries to the Middle East to convert Moslem Arabs to Christianity.

So, what do people say about Jack Wheeler?
"Jack Wheeler is just about the most interesting man I know. As a professional adventurer, he has discovered lost tribes and led expeditions to every corner of the globe. As a geopolitical strategist, he created the Reagan Doctrine, which led to the demise of the Soviet Union. He is a brilliantly original thinker and deeply perceptive analyst of world events. I value his counsel and friendship." - U.S. Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA)

Here is what author Richard Poe has to say about this amazing man:

"An Explorer, Soldier and Scholar, Wheeler seems like an apparition out of the 19th century. He served in six conflicts against communist guerrillas, sky-dived at the North Pole, discovered three unknown tribes and holds a doctorate in philosophy."

The Washington Post called Wheeler a "right-wing Indiana Jones". He is widely credited with inspiring the "Reagan Doctrine", which called for U.S. support of freedom fighters.

I was at an awards banquet this weekend where a former Ambassador was honored. He had worked under both Carter and Reagan - in other words, he was a State Dept careerist. The last line of introduction for him was this: "... and he still believes that ANY antagonistic situation can ALWAYS be worked out by talking." Can you believe that someone could say that after September 11th?

Also, about two years ago, I met with a mid-level State Dept guy in the Near East division. As we walked the halls of State to his office, I said to him, "So, I guess it is hard to change policy direction when a new administration takes over" and he said, "Oh, no, we do our best NOT to change policy just because an administration changes." I just kinda looked at him with a mixture of scorn and utter shock.

It's amazing how infested State is with Leftists who are just plain damned clueless.

Even the Fox roundtable (including Mort) said recently that half the CIA (sounded large to me, who was aware there was a clear anti Bush administration cabal) were out to get Bush.

They said that the administration had to be very careful in public pronouncements because the slightest thing this rogue group can twist and manipulate into "Bush lied!", they will find something to leak to contradict the Bush administration. At the time that memo had been leaked about the administration being "warned" (media/CIA rogue group spin for one line in a memo) about insurgents in Iraq.

I've often wondered about those very very very book smart people who've perverted their intelligence with pride. Some intel folks have played the world like a video game for so long that the public is catching onto how dirty wars are sold to presidencies for their own political agendas. The thought of a "Transparent Society" must horrify them since it will reveal them and their present actions in its entirety. The more I examine how vulnerable very very very book smart people are to such a fall to pride and self-worship, the easier it is for me to understand why such despicable rouges are very much like the most intelligent creature ever created: satan.

Thus, I'm no longer surprised that intel agencies (including the CIA) would harbor such sinister intellects bend on self-serving ideologies. The end result that I've witness by such a self-pitying crowd is that many prefer to rack their bodies with drugs (booze) and unrestrained sexual activity...except that they're no James Bond.

This is all a revelation to me. I had no idea this was going on at the CIA - I assumed, like most people would assume, that the CIA is a button down, no-nonsense organization, which would point to pro-defense Republican policies.

The scary thing about this is they have the intelligence AND the media to leak it to. It appears there is little to counter this besides extremely strategic thinking, like the NY Times leak to counter the CBS leak (over Al QaQaagate)...

The left bragged that they had left little time-bombs all over the place for the Bush administration and that there was no way they'd be able to find them all. It was better for the people like tenet who helped enable the osamas to take the blame for their own messes, than have the left screaming 'miserable failure' at a Bush appointee.

Are ye nuts? Where's any substantiation? Anybody can say anything but to get any respect, you gotta back it up. I don't see any back-up.

I'm calling foul, this story smells.

There may be some at the agency who are working against Bush but a Kerry election spells a bloodletting within the intelligence community not seen since 74' & 75'. In fact Biden, who is speculated to take control within the intelligence hierarchy under a Kerry administration catastrophe, was instrumental in pushing through much of the legislation which not only de-fanged and raped the CIA but neutered the entire community.

I second that emotion - Thanks for the 411

I had heard from Bill Gertz that the Cia was out to get Bush out of office but I didn't hear specifics.

Last night, Fox had a very short report that one last "chapter" is left to be published in the 9/11 Commissions report but that it was still being "vetted" or something and it wouldn't be released until after the election. They didn't make a big deal about it - it was kind of a matter of fact story.

Do you think this is being held back by Goss also?

Heard on Drudge that Kerry will get rid of Porter Goss and install Bob Graham as CIA chief --- that nut!

You sound as if you are an insider. Your info doesn't surprise me given what I've read of Milroie's books. It does make me very, very angry.

Well, thank you for a sane 'voice' in this group. Geeze, just about everyone here believes this without question. Am I in a dimocrat site by mistake?

You may not be concerned who leaked her name but the dems want to use it as a sledgehammer against Bush. If fact, that is what I have been dreading would come out as an October surprise against Bush. Remember, there was a report just a couple weeks ago that Rove was interviwed by Justice for 2 hours. I thought then that the timing was getting just a little to close to elections to be bringing that subject up in the media again.

My understanding is that the CIA has been run by the analysts instead of the agents. It has become a festering abcess where the leadership is more concerned with covering their butts than spying.

These people are so concerned with covering their *sses, that they care much less about the real business of the CIA. I can easily see where they would prefer a Kerry to a Bush - Kerry will do nothing to pressure them to get back to spying and honoring agents. Bush will, hence his choice of Porter Goss.
