Heavenly Father, you are the author of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Please Father, do not remove your hand of mercy from this great country America. Move your people to action this Tuesday. Make our will comport with Your will. Strengthen those who are weak, that they may make the right choice. Do not abandon your faithful ones, Lord. Let truth and justice prevail. Amen.
I fasted on Thursday and plan on doing so again tomorrow. Remember all, that along with fasting comes prayer, pray any time, at your desk in the car, wherever...we have to do this, we have to petition the lord to bless this nation even though as a whole we don't deserve it.
ok, I'm in. After the kids get on the bus, I'm having a huge prayer time!

Lord God hear my prayer. You said if ye believe in me and my word abide in you ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done. Lord God I ask that you let George W. Bush win the electoral collage and the election on Tuesday. In Christ name I pray. Amen

Great prayer. One I've been praying over and over again (or at least similar). I've been tempted to pray that Bush wins, but I know better. Everything is under control. And that trumps all polls.

While we must be in consistent prayer that God bless our nation, believers have a second responsibility in terms of government: we are to elect leaders who are devoted to biblical values. “Moreover, you shall choose able men from all the people — God-fearing men of truth who hate unjust gain ...” (Exodus 18:21, NAS).
Okay. I'll fast one meal Monday and Tuesday. Good idea. Today I volunteered to GOTV and it was very encouraging. I could not believe the grass roots effort underway here in Las Vegas. We could use a couple more volunteers but there were a lot of people manning the phones and pounding the pavement.
I had e-mail yesterday from an Army chaplain in Iraq who says they are praying for GWB's re-election.
Lift us up, o Lord, lift us up to where we need to be. May the people of this Nation be discerning in the all-important choices before us, to choose integrity, honor and true public service.

I'll fast. This election has been a religious experience for me...and I'm sure many others.
I have to admit that I have ask specifically that GW would win. But God's will must be done. ... My son tonight said grace for the meal and at the end he asked that President Bush would still be our President.
