Ok does anyone have a list of web site or even better a single web site that will have updates of all the national election returns? I know the MSM will have there own sites I can go to but I was thinking it might be nice to look at each of the key state sites for myself. I am hopeful that I will be able to log on here but in the last presidential election I could not get on. Well if anyone has ideas I would be very thankful other wise it is off to google once again.

Sorry about this but I will be at election head quarters here in Kern County trying to watch all these elections on the web. I am a selfish and lazy person who would like to avoid having to find and book mark all the state election sites myself! :)

Lol...I admire your honest, sir. You are a slacker and a patriot and I salute you!
I would bet NBCnews.com or foxnews.com would have up-to-date stuff...This site is always good...

RealClearPolitics has done an awesome job with the polling results. I was hoping they would have election results on Tuesday.

I was reading through his notes last night and he indicated that he will be keeping updates on the various races down to the district level...Drudge was amazing in 2000 and 2002.

Thank you for posting this. I will not be watching the MSM.
I'd love to see a site that shows each country/district changing color, and each state changing it's tint, as the evening progresses.
Is this just wishful thinking ?

Drudge traditionally posts exit poll results mid-afternoon on election day. While not results, they usually give a decent idea of what the night will shape up like.

Well you could always go to each states web sites. The standard web address would be www.state.(2 digit postal abbrev).us For example for Virginia it would be www.state.va.us. But I'm just gonna assume you're too lazy for that, so I recommend staying here at FR

In 2000, on TOWNHALL.COM, you could watch the real-time state by state results as they were tallied. Their site would give total votes for each candidate and the percentage of precincts reporting. I was watching Florida results after the networks called for Bush and you could see his lead keep dwindling. Not sure if they will have the same this year.

Townhall.com has done a good job in past elections. I heard AP will be doing the exit polling and such, as VNS was disbanded for doing such a poor job in the last election.

CNN has a good overall election results site. You might also try the National Association of Secretaries of State which has a link to each state's SOS.

Keep your mouse clicking on Drudge and National Review's blogs for the latest..

The very best place would be the Free Republic live thread(s).
Just keep hitting refresh, the results will scroll by.
