Good morning, freepers. As you may already know, this is where we place links to other Terri threads at Free Republic and other breaking news about Terri Schindler-Schiavo.
In addition, this is a place to meet and plan ways to use grassroots activism to help Terri's Fight.
If you are a newbie to Terri's Fight, I urge you to visit http://www.terrisfight.org where you can subscribe to their newsletter, can get up to speed on the court cases and the very long struggle.
As far as what can Free Republic do for Terri's Fight, in the November Dailies Thread (here), please consider joining us.
The pay isn't very good lol but it is rewarding to help Terri nonetheless. Terri's life has as much value as anyone else's. The right to die movement needs a counter-balance. That freepers, is where we come in. TO JOIN TERRI'S FREEPERS, I would ask that newbies and old guard Terri freepers do a post to join us under our new name: TERRI'S FREEPERS.
It's a good thing I wasn't close enough to Mrs. Greer to GIVE HER A PIECE OF MY MIND!! Sheeeeeesh! Why on earth doesn't Gov Bush dismiss Greer for gross misconduct, etc.
It's difficult that Greer is a Republican and he cheated so much in his election but was able to get away with it, even if he would have been challenged. Even the Supervisor of Election was on his "team".
I look forward to seeing the new footage of Terri tonight on abc wtsp local. Pretty soon the cat will be out of the bag that Terri's a disabled woman, not someone who must be executed by society. Perish the thought!!!
The footage on abc local tonight is BEFORE Terri's collapse. Looks like home movies and maybe like abc interviews Terri's parents. FV They just did a brief promo on wtsp abc tv.

FV, could you please clarify? WTSP is a CBS affiliate. A couple of days ago, you indicated that WFTS, which is our ABC affiliate, would be airing the story "after NYPD Blue." I'd like to tape it, but I've not seen any of the promos, so I'm not sure which station to program now.

Thank you SO MUCH for the link to the video report. It was good to see the Schindler's get some good exposure. I thought I was going to THROW UP when I heard and saw Michael Schiavo repeat those wedding vows. The Schindler's are so defeated sounding. They don't even have the energy to be mad to MS anymore.
The Schindlers have plenty of energy, but aren't going to waste it being mad at Michael or hating him. They are very wise and extraordinarily wonderful people. They are much kinder than Michael ever will be.

The newsletter quotes author Wesley Smith's comments regarding Michael Schiavo's deposition given on November 19, 1993.
"After admitting to having been romantically involved with other women during this period, he was asked what he did with Terri's jewelry. Michael answered, "Um, I think I took her engagement ring and her - what do you call it - diamond wedding band and made a ring for myself." SWEET.
The attorneys for Terri's parents filed a new brief with the 2nd District Court of Appeals on Nov 22nd. The brief is 56 pages and stresses that Terri was a practicing Catholic.
