Floyd staying here. We are going to the game. Just hope I do not have to sit under the Jumbotron like I did the last time!
No, I think it's the campaign. I was working down there today; I have good hearing, and there were some bigwigs there...I'll leave it at that.
They still sounded optimistic about tomorrow's turnout, though; so some internals must look good.
doesn't sound good...I have been more concerned about Iowa than either Ohio or Florida frankly
Reposting this that I found at polipundit:
"So far we have heard three times that in the early voting Bush is up by 15 points according to the Bush Campaign, or 8 points according to the Bush campaign quoting the CBS poll, and now according to Harris Bush is winning by 6 points. We have almost 25% who have voted. If we average these three numbers we come up with a lead of of 9.6%. "
Anyone care to comment on this? Looks like we are already way ahead and won't need to lead among those voting tomorrow. Bush just needs enough to maintain the lead he already has because of the early voters. Thoughts?
I'm a Texan, but I'm here in Iowa. The bottom line is that Iowans don't put up with eastern know-it-alls. This state is going for Bush.
Well, the Dems have a good ground game; and do well on early voting and absentee. We can still do it though! Spent time today making GOTV calls with many others; cross your fingers!
We have a number of Texans up here too.
Aside from a love of loud country and western music, they're good people.
I'm sending this from the local Bush-Cheney office. We've finished it up here. There's a few people around here finishing up on some last-minute details.
Looks like Harris has confirmed what I read on polipundit:
Harris Poll Internal - 24% of LIKELY VOTERS have voted! BUSH AHEAD 50-44!!!!
Is there gonna be a set together for the Bush workers here in Iowa?
Well we don't need Iowa if we have Ohio and FL.
I want them ALL!
So do I, but I will settle for 270!
