Leftists Demonstration Plans - Houston, TX (3 November 2004)
3 November 2004 | PetroniDE

Posted on 11/03/2004 8:45:47 AM PST by PetroniDE

This was posted at 9:25 am this morning of a local leftists website. There is no time to plan a counter-freep, but watch the local news for coverage of this local "whine-fest". POSTINGS ARE UNEDITED. --------------------------------------------------

if you are disappointed by what appears to be a "decisive" bush electoral victory and are concerned about the forces of pre-emptive war, globalization and state-sponsored repression continuing to march on, then come out to the 1919 Smith and join a gathering of progressives and people of conscious meeting, discussing and rallying to call for an end to the escalation of US sponsored violence in iraq and, potentially, other parts of the world.

bush's 1st term radicalized and mobilized thousands into action, his 2nd term will only do more of the same.

--see you there -------------------------------------------------

REGARDLESS OF WHO IS ELECTED PRESIDENT, DEMAND AN END TO THE ESCALATION OF THE WAR AND OCCUPATION OF IRAQ No matter who wins the presidency, the U.S. military will still be in Iraq, illegally occupying that country and wreaking misery upon its people. We need to relentlessly demand an end to the occupation-not the war's escalation--for the safety of both the U.S. soldiers and the Iraqi people. What better time than right after election day to remind the next president that our movement is still here, that the occupation must end, and that we will keep up the pressure until we achieve that goal?

Join a lunchtime rally to protest the possible

Houston ping for information only --- no time to plan anything but good for a few laughs on the local news.

The dems lose more votes than they know by this kind of thing.

The twelve people who show up for this better stay out of the street. They're trying to mess with Texas.

It's the same kind of thing that started the 'peace' protests of the '60s, and they will have a willing press if it begins to develop.

Now they won't have much of a comeback to the "Four More Years" chant.

Sweet.

The RAT's heads are spinning. They are seething with hatred. Bitterness. They are so controlled by immorality that they never considered that the rest of America was sick and tired, vexed, by the culture of death, the crass babykillers, perverts, and socialist leeches who are taxing us to death for social experimentation designed to undermine the fabric of our nation. The forces of darkness have taken a big hit, praise be to God. The President has a clear mandate from the people of the United States. We need to pray for our President. The threat upon his life is huge.

If I were in Houston I'd go just to watch the wailing, lamentations, and rending of garments. It'd more fun than watching the grossest geek show ever put on by the most disreputable carnival.

I thought about it but there are better activities/ services to attend Downtown this lunchtime. The response from these people reminds me of one of the last scenes from the Passion, when death is conquered by Christ, and satan is screaming. But that's just me.

HA! I got that same email (I get some truly vile SPAM).

I posted the earlier version ("will protest regardless who wins") to the SF protest thread on the sidebar (sounded like they were doing the same thing). I thought I PINGed the Houston list.

Won't these crybabies shut the Hell up? Americans stood in line in greater numbers to say HELL NO to Kerry and HELL NO to Daschle, a liberal activist Supreme Court, and added to the Republican Senate and House.

John Kerry was a leader of that revolt against America as well. John Kerry is BAD for America.
