what an excellent bday present!!!
can't even imagine terayzuh as first lady.
my wife and i both laugh thinking about the difference in class, sophistication, elegance, and respect between the hoity-toity wind-bag and the girl from texas...not exactly irony, but definitely obvious how the adjectives you would expect to be used for one fit the other instead.

The Scorpio Freepers and Laura enjoy our spot in the solar spotlight this lunar cycle.

I think her husband's victory is an incredible (and early) birthday gift.

Amen, compare this to four years ago.

Hi George Wythe

I agree with you, but I think four more years with Laura Bush as our First Lady is more of a gift to us.

I was shocked to hear the First Lady is 58! She looks to be much younger than that. I would have guessed 44 to 46 at the very most. GW is a lucky man.

Sent an email on White House Interactive congratulating our First Lady. May she have many more, all filled with love, health, and happiness.

Best Regards

Sergio

Oh, you got THAT right, Dave! Four years ago I was not only watching the "hanging chad" debacle, I was also watching my Mom trying to beat cancer. She eventually lost, but not before she voted for W. Wish she were here now; she'd be doing an Irish jig.

Our mothers survived and celebrated W's victory in 2000.

They left us last year and this year. Both wanted W's victory this year for us, their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Like your Mother, ours are celebrating with us up there.

There is no direct email link to her on the white house page, but I sent it via the President along with congratulations on his victory.

Our moms probably didn't start smiling, giggling and dancing with your mom until Kerry announced his concession this morning. They were tough/loving women who grew up in the great depression and gave birth to their children in the depressipn and WWII. They believed in something when it was there.

MIne is with yours....When her dementia started they asked her who the president was....She couldn't remember but she said she sure liked his wife Mrs. Bush (Barbara, our First Grand Lady)

We sent the story to the WH and they sent mother a lovely note and picture, which she kept with the family pictures......She so loved the Bushes.

We must all celebrate double for our mothers....I'll have a diet coke with a hot fudge sundae....her favorite treat.
