I love Santorum, but I'm worried because he's up for re-election in 2008. If he were to get into the Republican primaries, wouldn't he have to skip re-election as a Senator? If he doesn't make it out of the primaries or loses the presidential election, PA will be out one great senator.

Lieberman ran for VP and Senator in 2000.

Santorum is up in 06 not 08.

If Romney is not pro life, then there is no reason to support him over Giuliani.

When is Rendell up? What if Santorum took him on in 06 instead of running for Senate? Not THAT would be interesting.....

My two favorite possibilities are Rick Santorum and Judge Roy Moore of Alabama. I do concede that the liberal media will tear them both to shreds just like what happened with Alan Keyes. I know of a few feminazies that don't like Hillary but would consider voting for her only because she is a woman (barf). I like Elizabeth Dole better than Condi as Pres and although McCain is a bit too RINO for me, I think putting him on the ticket as VP could result in a landslide because of his crossover appeal.
