Polling showed the Swiftvets had more impact than any other single independent group involved in the election. They were heros in Vietnam and they are heros again.

Kerry's speech was an exercise in self serving hypocrisy. His sly slap at the SwiftBoat Vets indicates he knows what they cost him. He's worried he'll become a leper in RAT circles by Monday morning, so he's trying for elder statesman. Don't underestimate his capacity for duplicity. He is like Zell Miller's copperhead, sliding away among the logs. If you don't chop his head off now, he'll come back and bite you...or send your children to Somalia on some misbegotten meals on wheels expedition.

True all words!! Get him when he's down! Pile on time!

We may be doing damage to ourselves here if we look majorly ungraceful.

We may do a lot more damage allowing him access to classified information. Ditto on HRC. I appreciate your wish for civility but cannot accept Kerry slinking away in the dark when we are at war and he is in a position where he could still do the US damage.

Vengeance is sweet with a loud mouth, boastful, Vietnam resume inflating, arrogant bum such as Kerry. And I'm not big on vendettas.

Those voters duped by his fraud need to learn both about him, and about the propaganda mills that covered for him.

Amen, Boundless. The electorate in a free society have the right to the truth. The politicians and the media have the obligation to provide it...otherwise, call them what they are: Fifth Columnists.

Problem is, Kerry won't go quietly into the night. He intends to remain a player. His statement this afternoon, well, anything he says, is self serving. He's trying to carve out a place for himself at the RAT power table. Let's face it, he's TerAYsa's lapdog, he has no power at all in that relationship. The presidency was his shot at being bigger than she is. God help us, if Hill gets in in '08, Kerry will be right there with his hand up, wanting to be Sec. of Defense or State. He remains dangerous, and the problem is what to do about it. If this were GW or some other prominent republican, what do we think the MSM would do? Hmmm? They'd drive a stake through his heart. That's why they call politics a blood sport.

Senator Tower from Texas nominated for Sec. of Defense some years back, maybe under Reagan...anyway, the RATs screamed from the rooftops some nonsense, drinking or womanizing or both, and his career was kaput. Tower was hounded from office and the country missed his military expertise sorely. The RATs didn't care. What we have here is an interesting reversal, sort of. Kerry is a snake, just remember not to turn your back on him.

We have already killed his dreams and ruined his life. How much more flesh do we need?

Camachee, in all due respect, "we" did not do this...

I'm also not gloating today, just relieved.

Agree....so far this election resolution has gone better than 2000. Today is "Day 1" in seeing that the 2008 election process goes more peacefully, truthfully and legally than this one. Voter fraud still took place this time but if each election is corrected to make the next one more honest, then all avenues for correction need to be explored.

I think they should go for it! This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Many bled and died for our freedom and are still doing so today. To allow traitors and communistic socialists to lead our country in any office is spit on the sacrifices of our brave defenders!

Thank you for being blunt, to the point, and totally on the money. The next four years won't be a walk in the park. Rats don't intend to play nice on any level. Once they get their wounds licked clean, they'll be hungry for red meat.

I would love to see a very well advertised special on Fox that thoroughly exposes all the MSM lies throughout the past few years.

I was at a college campus this past weekend in NH and happened to find an piece of election material telling the college students that Bush wants To:

Start the draft

End Social Security

That Bush is responsible for high medical costs and high college tuition costs

The students bought all this stuff and I blame them 25% for not seeking the truth and MSM 75% for not telling the truth on the issues.
