It is with profound relief and gratitude to all the volunteers, voters, the Swift Vets for Truth, campaign staff, etc., that I type up today's edition of A Day in the Life of the Re-elected President Bush.
As we now know, Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate? YES!
Stocks surged Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials posting a triple-digit gain moments after the opening bell, as investors expressed relief following the election and …victory for President Bush.
Some international reaction: Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said an election victory by President Bush would strengthen the United States and benefit their countries.

But that was a small sacrifice to see this family get to remain in the White House for four more years. Thanks again.......

I remember this day being one of the very first discussions, and worries, of the Bush Babes way back in the dark ages when the Dose first started. I am so glad this day has dawned like it has. I simply did not know what I, or we as a nation, would do without W as our president. I wish he could be president forever. I can't wait to see all the great things he does in these next four years. My prayers are going to be even more- that he might have the courage to take a stand and stack our SCOTUS with pro-life justices. Our future depends on it. Our fellow Americans made a real decisive victory last night- 4,000,000 extra votes for W. That is fantastic, and if that's not a mandate, I don't know what is.
Here's to another 4 years of THE DOSE and W as our president!!
Prairie, if the various investigations into what happened with the Oil for Food scam drag on and on, I'm gonna start ragging on the Republicans in Congress to do something about cutting back our UN funds.

I was thinking of you last night when the media refused to call both Ohio and Nevada for the President (that would have put him over the top). Some called Ohio and some called Nevada. But none called both, including Fox. The media are scum.
