Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate.Reading that, I was struck with how similar it is to what we celebrated just a few weeks ago for PM John Howard in Australia!

I can't tell you how utterly THRILLED I was that PM Howard won his election! I prayed that he would win. Now, thankfully, both of our countries have wonderful Leaders!
Many of us truly appreciate PM Howard's friendship and alliance!
