In an interview with Wolf Blitzer today, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California) had the spin machine at full rpm. She claimed the strong Republican support in the election was due to the GOP minimizing the "real" issues of the election (i.e. the economy, Iraq, health care) while emphasizing moral and social issues. In other words, the voters let the GOP pull the wool over their eyes and were too stupid to recognize what the vote was really about. When are these inane talking heads going to get it in their thick heads that this lack of respect is the reason for the major disconnect between fly-over America and the "intellectual-elite" left?

OMG, I cannot believe she really said that. This guarantees another smashing GOP victory in 2006. It is really hard to believe somebody that dense could rise to such an important position. Of course, she is about to find put just how UNimportant her position is now.

I watched Charlie Rose, Bill Moyers, David Halberstam, and a few others on PBS try to make sense of the results for themselves. They simply could not get a handle on the complete repudiation of Lib/Dem orthodoxy.
The longer it takes them the better for us.
They do this everytime they lose. They have to fool themselves into thinking that what they believe is loved by the American people when it is obvious it is not. They insist on deluding themselves. Thats why Zell Miller turned on them.
We need to declare the "red states" a no fly zone for those on either coast.

those Dems just dont seem to get it..It was about Morals,and you can blame the MSM for it. The media sealed Kerry's fate for the last two months.. with all the lies they told week in and week out most normal americans like me just got sick of it. I have to say i never was a real excited person about elections but this year it was different for me, everytime i watched the media it made me want to puke and it made me want to get out and do something!! and i did i voted for Bush and against the MSM
