Welcome.

The day Nancy Pelosi convinces me I voted wrongly because I'm stupid is the day I BECOME stupid.

I called Morning Edition yesterday in a panic. They didn't have their "Swing Voter" on to tell me who to vote for.

I told them that even though John Ridley was a contributer to Kerry, I would not vote for Kerry till John Ridley actually said Kerry was the better choice.

Maybe Pelosi doesn't want the Democrats to win more elections and have power in the House. She is not good at public relations which would help the Democrat Party. She seems to be a bitter old lady who people try to avoid.
The Democrats must not care about losing election after election with these same old whiners.
The Democrat Big Media will continue to put her on the air to force us to watch another channel.

Welcome to FR.
I doubt the left will ever really get it. What may happen is that they will try to pretend in the next cycle that they are not left of left! The American people for the most part are not socialist commies who care only about abortion, homosexuals and the economy.

GOP minimizing the "real" issues of the election (i.e. the economy, Iraq, health care) while emphasizing moral and social issues Nancy might want to talk to Little Tommy Daschle. He just had an encounter with the REAL MAINSTREAM of America.

I do this as well...it's good to see what they are up to and keep them aware that there are sane people out there watching and listening. The problem is that PBS gets lots of its money from the taxpayers and yet make no bones about being Liberal.

I spend lots of time reading leftist magazines as well. Lots of those...I sometimes wonder how they manage to stay afloat. They get grants from foundations and from the government. This is wrong.

Under her strong and determined leadership, leadership that has put the spot light on republicans and their values, which has provided gains for the GOP in each election of her stewardship. Way to Go Nancy! Job well done.

Nancy could run business off from the Post Office, she has missed her calling as the Poster Girl for the California
Prune Growers.Leave her alone, she belongs right in there with Sheila Jackson, and Maxine Waters.

Well, yes. But that is the way democrats have campaigned for national office since the McGovern and Carter debacles. Dukakis ran on 'competancy.' Clinton as a new kind of moderate democrat. And, most recently, John "Idon'tlikelabelsdon'tyoudarebringupmysenaterecord" Kerry.

Look at it this way. The locomotive may have gone over the cliff, but there is a whole lot of train behind it.

The left will take from this thrashing the same lesson they took from their 2002 lose: we weren't mean/nasty/shrill enough to get through the "right-wing" media.

We need to declare the "red states" a no fly zone for those on either coast.

No, we need to start right now quietly trying to convert some of the moderates in the blue states so we can re-color the map in 2008.

Matsui is such an arrogant SOB. I used to live in his district. It seems Sacramento will never wake up and get rid of this Alfa-Hotel. His local office in Sacramento did not even have voicemail on the public phone line. I will ask my parents tonight if he even needed to put out election signs.
