The Guardian and the Mirror are hardly the British press. More like the Star and the Enquirer here in the states. You'll notice you don't see BBC or London Times printing those attacks.

I for one have never said anything bad about the British in general. I do find the British media to be even less responsible and farther to the left than the American media, damn that gives me the shivers.

Now I will make generalizations about the French at the drop of a hat. No joke. Not really kidding though I laugh. The French have no value on this earth. They disgust me.

I am speaking strictly for myself, but I've noticed some of that as well. Especially in some of the postings that featured articles from the Guardian and the Mirror.

I would like to say that I see Prime Minister Blair as Great Britain's new Winston Churchil. Frankly, I was highly suspicious of Mr. Blair, due to his friendship with President Clinton, and I didn't feel that he would be much of an ally in the war on terror. Boy, was I wrong. Mr. Blair has taken a terribly unpopular path in his support for President Bush and the Bush Doctorine, and has put his career on the line.

While there are a number of real "whack jobs" in the British media, it really doesn't seem to be any different than here in the US. The problem is that the radical left controls most of the press, and that's the face that we often see over here. Sort of the same way that President Bush and conservatives in the US are presented to the British public.

I wish that some people here on FR would think just a bit more before hitting the POST button, but then again, it's an open forum (within reason.)

Again, speaking for my self, I greatly appreciate the contribution of yourself, and others like Mad Ivan, and look forward to his posts.

Since about 1812, Great Britian has been about the most steadfast and helpful ally the United States has ever had. Thank you for your support.

Mark

BTW, I love British Bulldogs. My girlfriend has a big, brindle Bully named Jack. 65 pounds of pure personality.

We don't like your food, your accents and your bulldogs Any questions?

Grrrrrr. British Bulldogs are handsome, distinguished, and all around wonderful and loyal friends.

Jack here would be upset if he wasn't the friendliest little guy in the world!

About eight years ago, I went with my father to Normandy before he died. As we walked on Omaha Beach and he pointed out where he went up the hill, we met three British vets from the eastern beach. I can't recall whether it was Sword or Juno or Gold.
I thanked them for their service and told them that the Americans would be pleased to fight alongside the British anytime and anywhere.
What more would you like?

I've always felt a strong fondness for Brits being of that ancestry myself.

Yah, but the Brit's and Eurosissies buy what that Climer is selling. They also seem to love Xlinton.
