I checked every bookstore in town today to see if they had this Newsweek issue.
Supposedly they were supposed to get in copies, but none of them had received their shipments.

Not what I was looking for. There was another thread around here where it said that he didn't just call campaign staffers, but complete strangers on the phone and asked them what they thought. Hell, he even apparently called Don Imus and asked him what he thought what position or stance he should take on some issues.

Wow. This article is a must read.

You almost have to feel sorry for the poor sap. Since he didn't win, he has to spend even more time with that venomous, unstable, inebriated, vile, elitist interloper he calls a wife. He can't get a divorce either. His salary from Senate can't support his lifestyle. I guess the moral is "You make your own bed; you have to sleep in it."

When he called a meeting with the pair, he was so worked up, he began to cry, screaming to Miss Cahill: Youve got to let him (Mr Lockhart) do it! Carville crying. Somehow I can't picture it.....and I probably should be glad.

Right. I read that he called Imus. Indecisive because he has no core values.

OK...Carville crying. That is enough to make me go read the whole article.
To: justt bloomin
Hmmm. Seems to me I heard somewhere that Mrs. Kerry was somewhat odd. Hmmmm...

After the anti-Kerry Swift Boat veteran attacks in August that questioned his Vietnam service, Mr Kerrys campaign was in turmoil, beset by feuds, indecision and dithering. Mr Kerry, often generous to his staff but a constant whiner, had reverted to indecision, unable to straighten the mess out.
Hope the Swifties read this

Don't you love how the media, who knew all of this, still praised this guy and protected him? They will say they will say as reporters they had their integrity to uphold, not to show favorites, which we all know is a freaking lie!

Hey, yess indeedy, the Swiftees are tough guys indeed.
But imagine if Commander in Chief John Kerry faced another Pentagon attack or the Capitol blown up or a dirty nuke in NYC by al-Qaida. And yet he was frazzled by Viet Vets in their 50s 60s and 70s running TV ads. Sheesh. Thank goodness he lost!!

I read some of that online at Newsweek.com. They don't have the entire story there, but mention something about the cellphone.

It really is disgusting. As fun as it is to read all of this now, it really is a glaring example of the criminality of the press.
For instance it's clear from many of the stories that TeRAYza would have wielded a lot of power if Kerry had gotten elected. And the press knew this and knew that she is unstable. Yet we--the public--didn't have the right to know that information.

Breathe...Exhale...Breathe.....Exhale....Breath.....going through my anger management exercises here. Ok, WHY THE HELL DID WE NOT SEE THIS TYPE OF COVERAGE BEFORE THE ELECTION!!!!!!!!! Let me tell you why, from a person who has seen the press at work first hand. Because this country's editorial boards are pure unabashed liberals and ideological Marxists with a zealousness known to only the grandest megalomaniacs.
I spent a couple years around these idiots and quickly realized that this profession had no place for someone with honesty and integrity.
These people look past their wire-rimmed glasses (which half of them don't really need, it just makes them look 'intelligent') down their stuck-up noses, at the 'average people'. Idealists who never got a real job is the way i look at them.
In my experience, most of them were either liberal ACLU types who wanted to 'make a difference'. Or some of them were just pure rabblerousers. For instance, I once had one desk editor insert quotes from various public officials in the community i was writing in, insert them into a story I had written for publication, attached my name to it, and published it without even advising me. To this day I think he made up the quotes.
It was a totally benign story, but this editor made a controversy by making a few calls, inserting out-of-context quotes, and never bothering to advise me before sending it to print with my name on the byline. I was furious and realized it was time to get out of that business.
The modern media's problem is this folks.......they think they are more intelligent than all of you. It's hillarious they talk about Bush being a zealot when they are the most zealous lot of them all.
Reality is the opposite however. Most people have real jobs and provide or create something of value. All the media does is watch other people make news. WORTHLESS.

The article paints Kerry as an indecisive wuss, married to a flake. My question is why this important and relevant information was not made public BEFORE the election?
