Of course, you could look at it this way: At 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, 11/02/04, the most likely exit poll results would have been biased toward folks that didn't work for a living. Given this dynamic, it could be possible that the count was largely democrat.

I'm either repeating what Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter said the other day....research has shown that news that your candidate is behind discourges those who've yet to vote from going out to vote.

It's an emotional reaction, but it makes sense to me.

"three major media scams"

Actually .. there were 4 - everybody always leaves out the ABC Nightline FAKE WITNESSES story. ABC was willing to believe "supposed" Communist FAKE witnesses - over the decorated American military witnesses regarding Kerry's lying statements on his after action reports and his Silver Star citation.

Actually, I am not surprised that exit polling was off so much.

Many polling places had moveon.org "poll watchers" -- who were actually holding illegal Kerry rallies. Additionally, voters had been bombarded with messages from the Kerryokies that anyone voting for Bush was an evil moron that copulated with animals or committed incest with his (or her) parents or children. I got those type of messages from liberal co-workers, and I live in the Houston area. Lots of people heard about cars vandalized for having a Bush bumper sticker or homes trashed after having a Bush sign out in front.

Now, you are Jane (more likely in mid-day) or Joe Voter. You are not really political, and just want to live your life. To you participation in politics is voting every other year. But you have come out to vote, and in the privacy of the booth, picked Bush. This despite the noisy pro-Kerry rally just outside the voting booth -- held by these really intense people, who seem just . . . a little . . . ah . . . well, intimidating.

You leave the booth and start heading for your car. You don't want trouble. You just want to get to work or back home. Suddenly someone comes up to you and asks, "So, who did you vote for?" You do not know this person. Did she come from the group of pro-Kerry loons? Is she going to take your name? What happens if the Kerryokes get mad at you? So you look the person straight in the eye, and say what you know will let you get to your car undisturbed -- "John Kerry, of course."

Not every Bush voter did this. But if as few as one out of every eight to ten lied this way, the results would be that the exit polls showed a Kerry landslide. You would be swinging the totals 20% (Which is how far they were off in Pennsylvania.)

That is what I think happened.

What's telling is not ONE network talking head, INCLUDING FOX, dared to even question the exit polls until obvious contradictory results poured in. The Fox panel guys had all afternoon to check the web and see the exit polls were bullshit, yet they persisted in eulogizing Bush anyway. I have no doubt some of the more wobbly Bush vote was suppressed, and more importantly, the Kerry vote inspired. Thankfully not enough.

We have no one to trust on the TV media. No one. Fox stabbed us in the back like the rest.

The silver lining is that the Rats believed the exit polls and were doing backflips during their Swandive into an empty pool. Ouch, that had to hurt!!!

To the degree that the 'exit polls' were election fraud, designed to improperly influence an American election, investigations and prosecutions should proceed. Of course, even if they do proceed, they will probably slip into the never-to-be-reported file, already containing the forged documents matter, the Sandy Burger matter and the missing munitions matter.

Kerry never had a chance in NC. Edwards knew he could not get re-elected.

At one point CNN called Virginia for Kerry. Pointedly wrong. I was following the State's results on-line and the President was running just about 10% ahead the whole night.

Since we could read the results ourselves on the state websites, we had no need to wait for the networks to call the results for us - especially when they refused to call NM and IA until the Kerry campaign gave them permission.

I find that to be a very good question. All of the internals are still gospel. What is the deal with that.

I kind of believe that. I had voted early Tuesday morning, but when I thought Kerry was the winer, I actually got into bed and pulled the covers over my head for a while.

However, thanks to my FreeRepublic addiction, I couldn't stay away very long, and then I learned the truth.

Listening to Rush on Friday he came up with proof that the Kerry campaign was feeding the networks the data and making it look like exit poll data. He has also linked the Kerry operatives to calling the networks and getting them to suspend calling Ohio for Bush in order to keep west coast dems voting. His site lists his research on both topics.

I agree, without the MSM, voter fraud, and downright lies, the race would not have even been close!

It is beyond comprehension that these people continue to profess they are speaking for the majority. If they would once run an honest election they would find only 30% of the country even moderatly agreeing with them. Alas, they campaign not for truth but more for what they think is better for us. I am for the complete destruction of the left wing. They haven't had anything remotely resembling the American consience for 30 years. They lean farther and farther toward socialism and communism every election cycle. This will be their downfall. Sooner than later if I can have anything to do with it.

Many people lied to the pollsters...some were probably afraid to say"bush" for fear of Democrat thugs...people lied it's as simple as that!

Which is another reason to ban exit polling within 500 feet of a polling place.

whoever slammed the exit polls seems to have gotten away with it; ditto with the people that forged the guard memos.
