George W. Bush won. Twice. Now shut up.
L. H. SMITH; University Place Saturday, November 6th, 2004 12:01 AM (PST)
I like it, I like it.
I'm STILL gettin' out the gloat! My SIL in Austin is practically on suicide watch. Bwahahaha!
LOL!
Someone like "W" -
Says what he means and means what he says.
I just love it.
I was being battered yesterday by several "family" members who are simply outraged. Funny thing though, none of them voted.
Heheheh.
The whining and moaning here in Washington State hasn't even started yet. About 500 maggot infested anarchists and unemployable losers marched out from under their rocks on Saturday to protest Mr. Bush's re-election, but the great mass of liberals is still in shock. Give them another week and the hysteria will set in. As Rush says, then its going to get fun.
I have relatives in CA who I'll probably not hear from for the next 4 years!
Funny how that works, eh? My idiot ex-pat cousins who live in Ireland are glad they don't have to move AGAIN.
I'm so glad you got a happy birthday out of this election!
Same here. Thanks for all the help in FL. My BIL can again safely vacation in Winterhaven this year.
Well, after blowing out the candles on THREE cakes, Bush was a shoo-in!
They didn't vote? They didn't have enough concern to get off their butts and exercise their RIGHT to vote? Then they don't get to bitch. The letter says it all!
Oh! As per your request, I gloated for you, too. ; )
Yup. Two of them are 20-somethings, and they are still convinced that if Bush won they will be drafted. LOL! I wouldn't even discuss it with them; just walked away from the conversation and ignored them.
3 cakes! Lucky you! How did the fondue turn out?
Fondue was elegant and delicious. I have a Fuyu Persimmon tree with fruit on it, and we dipped firm chunks in the fondue. SUCH a treat! Also dipped little prawns, avocado chunks and sour dough bread. Oh, and we washed it down with champaign.
Yeah, I'm thinking of heading to the Starbucks at Queen Anne N. and Boston, purchasing a latte, and sitting outside to watch the freak show ..... which is usually the best in town!
I'm so jealous! I love fuya persimmons. My Grandma had a tree in her yard, and a pomegranite. The persimmons I can buy here are like green tomatoes. You can't even let them mellow on the window sill.
I have a great recipe for steamed persimmon pudding (sort of like plum pudding) that calls for dates and walnuts. I'll find it and send it to you before Christmas. It's really rich, but so yummy.
Did you get your avocado trees ordered?
Let's face it, it was a deadly close content, masterfully run and won by the good guys.
And also, if it weren't for the Sawift-Vets, whatever the rest of us did would not have been enough.
We can't rest on our laurels. After the New Year, we need to double our effort to achieve victory in 2006. Then, we need to find a man (or woman) who can rise and defeat the next pile of "whatever" the rats hurl at our nation's highest office.
But yeah, until then, it's PARTEEEE TIME!
