Memo to MSM weasels: If you hadn't shut conservative opinion out, there wouldn't be AM talk radio or FOX News.

Your wounds are self-inflicted. Your team lives in an echo chamber, while our team has been through the crucible - fight every inch to be heard, sharpening our arguments, discarding excess baggage.

And you still wonder why we kicked your tail last week?

I don't know which is worse - the thrashing we gave you, or the fact that you STILL don't understand how we did it.

RIP MSM

Why do people even read the new york times? Everyone knows they're a huge joke, they're not even considered a real news source as much as they're a tabloid.

Whenever I see anything with "New York Times" on it, I think "okay this is heavily biased so dont believe a word they're saying". Usually within a few days their stories are heavily debunked and they're laughed at by everyone (Jayson Blair, stolen weapons, etc etc)

But whether that has resulted in the White House giving Fox an edge in its coverage, or whether it puts the channel in a better position for scoops during a Bush second term, is difficult to prove, according to several White House correspondents. For example, while Mr. Bush gave interviews to Mr. O'Reilly and another Fox News host, Sean Hannity, in the last weeks of the campaign, he also made himself available to Tom Brokaw on NBC and Charles Gibson on ABC.

Oh, right! Like Senator Kerry wasn't given the opportunity to appear on O'Reilly and Hannity!

I listened to NRA radio on election night and watched FOX. Best coverage I've ever had on election night. Those NRA guys were really on the ball with their coverage and called Ohio way before FOX even. They broke down the county returns and compared them to 2000. Turned out they were right on.

They are the underdogs, outside the mainstream. They aren't fighting individual channels, they are fighting the whole lot of them.

Why worry about a Trash Rag like the NY Slimes.

Fox better remember that a MAJORITY of it's audience is CONSERVATIVE. Were the ones that got them to number one and can keep them there.

Liberals don't watch much news there to busy poking their damn noses into other peoples business.

Good for Cavuto he's my guy.

"As a buyer, the significance is consistency,'' said Sam Armando, director of television research for Starcom Worldwide, an advertising buyer. "If I'm looking for bigger audience, Fox News is the bigger audience.''

the free market speaks volumes. main stream america now has an alternative to liberal news and is driving advertisers to more "balanced" news reporting. money talks.

it might just be me, but i find nbc news to be leaning a little bit more to the center. and i consider fox to be a balanced or centrist outlet; they typically give both sides of an issue that the MSM agenda has for the day. i long for a conservative outlet that actually defines the news agenda.

Hey, I love Fox News... and loathe the NY Times.

But this article actually is pretty "fair and balanced." I especially loved Ailes line, "Presenting a point of view is not necessarily biased. Eliminating a point of view is biased."

You're right. It should read more like this:

" Mr. Bush gave interviews to Mr. O'Reilly and another Fox News host, Sean Hannity, while coward Kerry ran like a scared rabbit and hid from O'Reilly.

My advertising agency buys Fox News more than any other cable network. Its demgraphic numbers are fantatstic with upper-income households. CNN hate that one.

However, Fox has been moving to the left lately. The coverage has been better since the election. We MUST keep the pressure on Fox News to keep it real. We made them a success.

ALL

Beware attempts to marginalize Fox by other media outlets. Fox is in the middle...the rest of them are all way left. Keep the pressure on the other media...always, always. Now is the best time after our election victories. We may get some better coverage if we demand it!

"CNN charged more than Fox and received the higher rates because of its credibility"

That line made me want to throw up.
