I'd start with the District Attorney's office and maybe drop a dime to the INS, he could be an illegal.

What state are you from? You would need to contact the Elections Division in your state, most have an on-line reporting form.

I'd start with my local FBI if the guy has two ID's.

Hey hapy, I'm in Wethersfield (blue hell town in a blue hell state) and the registrar's list had a person who was registered to vote with my address, in addition to my wife and I. We've been in the house for 7 years and I know the family who lived there before us was there for at least 20 years. Occasionally we'll get junk mail with her name on it. All very strange.

Anyway, my wife contacted the town registrar's office and the women on the phone was very rude (probably crabby because of the way the election was panning out) and said the only way a person's name could be taken off the list was if they signed a letter stating that they had moved. Well if they don't live here now, unless they are hiding in a corner of our basement, how exactly can they sign such a letter?

After getting nowhere with the d-bag, my wife called the Secretary of State's office. As much and we can't stand Susan, the person on the phone was very helpful and said that the registrar should have caught it during previous elections when that person didn't show up to vote (they are supposed to follow-up with registered non-voters to confirm correct addresses) and that they would be in contact with the registrar.

Long story short, start with the SoS office and they will get you headed in the right direction.

Simple phone call to your friendly local FBI office.

First, ask to see the IDs. Make it sound like he's b.s.ing and ask him to produce them. He probably is, anyway.

Second, I don't know where you are, but if it is legal in your state to tape conversations if only one party knows about the recording--tape his ass spouting about it. You'd better be sure about that law before you record him, however, because you could subject yourself to liability for invasion of privacy. Better to tape him in a public place, not an office, but a conversation in a park or restaurant where lots of people can hear him. Ideally, you'd be in a line together waiting with lots of people around within earshot so there is NO expectation of privacy whatsoever.

If he DOES produce id, and you CAN tape him, visit the federal D.A.'s office for your area (given Conn's proclitivities for being liberal, probably better to skip the state's atty). Give the tape to the ADA who talks to you. Tell him/her you'll testify.

Expect the Linda Tripp treatment if you do this. And get your own lawyer before you do. You could ask around the GOP HQ.

Probably your local county prosecutor; unless it was in another state? then maybe the local federal prosecutor?

Sorry, in Connecticut, they'll just give him a medal and couple of new fake driver's licenses.

A furriner in civilian clothes, corrupting our election, is a spy. Hang him.
