Wall Street was pretty good, as long as you remembered to take away the opposite message of what Stone was trying to say. ;)

I thought that "Nixon" was pretty good.

He wrote MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, which was damn good. PLATOON was good - its politics were typical Hollywood leftism, but it was very well done. JFK was brilliantly made - historically laughable, but the filmmaking was amazing and very influential. ANY GIVEN SUNDAY was a good movie. Pacino was a little over the top, but that's been his style for the last ten years or so.

Stone has made some duds - NATURAL BORN KILLERS, NIXON, BORN ON THE 4TH OF JULY, WALL STREET - but his best movies are quite gripping. It'll be too bad if ALEXANDER stinks. But I'll make up my own mind...
