I'm trying to remember the good Oliver Stone movie, but I'm drawing a blank.

He had a hand in "Conan the Barbarian." But that was pretty much Milius all the way.

Didn't Stone write the screenplay to Conan the Barbarian?

I'm trying to remember the good Oliver Stone movie, but I'm drawing a blank. Wall Street was pretty good, as long as you remembered to take away the opposite message of what Stone was trying to say. ;)

I'm trying to remember the good Oliver Stone movie, but I'm drawing a blank. I thought that "Nixon" was pretty good.

He wrote MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, which was damn good. PLATOON was good - its politics were typical Hollywood leftism, but it was very well done. JFK was brilliantly made - historically laughable, but the filmmaking was amazing and very influential. ANY GIVEN SUNDAY was a good movie. Pacino was a little over the top, but that's been his style for the last ten years or so.
Stone has made some duds - NATURAL BORN KILLERS, NIXON, BORN ON THE 4TH OF JULY, WALL STREET - but his best movies are quite gripping. It'll be too bad if ALEXANDER stinks. But I'll make up my own mind...

First half of JFK was great...and accurate...then he got into lionizing Garrison...big mistake.
