I didn't know that one could get a handgun -- even just for home possession -- here in NYC.

Come down to Virginia, buy one and take it back with you.

Shooting ranges are addictive, It's my belief that when someone starts shooting in a controled environment they will fall in love with it.

Proud to say my 14 yr old daughter prefers my Glock full size .45 to the .22 revolver I bought her. She can even load faster than I can.

Bullets shoot out of the rifle at a top speed of 545 miles per hour, and have enough umph to maintain momentum up for about two miles

If you fired a bullet from an airplane at 10 560 feet it would carry for two miles into the ground but thats about the only time a bullet will go 2 miles from the barrel of a gun

A few years back a friend got this critter during bow season.

So what time of the year is chupacabra season?

.44 is too big for a noobie. She needs a .380.

For pure handgun marksmanship, a Ruger MKII .22LR semi-auto pistol is cheap to shoot. When that is mastered, I typically point the "newbie" at a .357 mag revolver with at least a 4" barrel. Practice with 38SPL. Cheap and effective for CCW. Replace with something like Federal Hydra-Shok .357mag for actual carry/self defense.

No Freudian implications in this picture at all!

I wouldn't know a "Fruedian impliciation" if I ran over one with my truck.
