SARIN GAS FOUND IN FALLUJAH
NPR ^ | 11/11/04

Posted on 11/11/2004 7:39:33 AM PST by southparkGOP

You'll need speakers to hear this. Embedded NPR reporter with Bravo Company, 1st Marine Battalion, 3rd Regiment, found suitcase with Sarin nerve gas. Unclear where it came from. In either case, war is justified because WMD have been found, or if it's Al Qaeda's I'd much rather it brought to Iraq to fight our military than brought to New York.

It will take about 30 minutes for the Arab press to issue a statement that this gas was brought into the city by Americans.

In 35 minutes the DUmmies will start repeating it as Gospel.

By the PM news Dan Blather will be starting off his show with a story about American companies that make sarin gas, and are related to Bush and Rove.

Not so fast, guys. How do we know it really is SARIN?

We need a taster. How about someone who knows that it's an impossible find, like say, Dan Rather, Bob Schieffer, Tom Brokaw, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Peter Jennings, Mark Halperin, George Stephanopoulos, Jim Lehrer, Gwen Ifill, Bill Moyers, Nina Totenberg, Kevin Phillips, or the Big Kahuna, John Kerry? Maybe all of them.

Certainly anyone, including our Hollywood types, that claimed that Saddam's dog was just a terrific animal actor when it keeled over -- writhing in pain -- as its muscles seized up, and it "appeared" to die.

Come to think about it, don't we have some ricin and anthrax for them to sample? This could be a full course meal. And, what about the protective clothing, the illegal SCUD missiles, and their chemical-mixing chambers for warheads?

Bottom-line, it would surely have a chilling effect on bad journalism, as well as a salutary effect by restoring some of the MSM's lost credibility. Developing....

And they call themselves conservative?

I call myself someone who expects proper testing to be done and evidence presented.

If it's sarin, Rummy will tell us. Probably by tomorrow. Tests take time.

I can't believe how many people go for these stories which are later denied by the government. For your ideas to be accurate, the DoD and Pentagon and the Bush administration would all have to be involved in actually covering up all this WMD evidence and making it disappear. And then you'd have to trust hundreds or thousands of soldiers on the ground to keep the secret that WMD had been found but we hid it.

The Bush administration and Pentagon are as eager as anyone to have real WMD proof. When and if they get it, we'll hear all about it pretty quickly.

Leftist response: not a WMD, doesn't represent a STOCKPILE of WMD AND a non-WMD WMD that would not be there if not for Bush's imperialist, unilateral invasion of Iraq.

Thank God it was found before it could be used.

Shame they didn't find more hostages, but thank God one was found and saved.

And the Good Lord knows that if there had been a conspiracy to bring WMDs out at the right time, THIS is not the right time. The right time -- as even an idiot conspiracist would know -- would have been about a month or so ago...BEFORE the election.

Try paying at least some attention to the WMD which have been found and confirmed. It'll provide a bit of balance.

Looks like the First Battalion of the Thundering Third just "justified" the war, for the lefties

Nothing EVER justifies war for the lefties, unless it's a war against the U.S., in which case it's always justified.

BTW, with regard to those elusive stockpiles of WMD, does a suitcase-sized biochem or nuclear bomb have to be larger than a suitcase for it to count as WMD?

What if such a suitcase bomb would kill only 30,000 instead of 3 million, does it count as WMD?

What if a bomb rendered a small city uninhabitable for decades instead of a large financial capital for centuries, does it count as WMD?

Just curious.

I spend a lot of time asking the so-called "antiwar protestors" to give their definition of "Weapon of Mass Destruction", including how many people must be killed at once by one in order for them to consider it a WMD.

So far, I've never gotten an answer.

Nah! They only manufactured the gas after we invaded in order to stop us, so it's all our fault it's there.

It doesn't take much to kill thousands of people. I think that the left is looking for atom bombs or something really dramatic.
