Police have been forced to tread lightly as elders and mullahs at mosques are among the most respected and influential people in the community. I don't care how respected they are, if they were Christians in America SPANKING their children the kids would be in foster care and the parents or elders in jail.
But because it's Islam and the mullahs are "respected and influential" a the police will "tread lightly."
Ridiculous.

Ah, yes. Maybe the Islamic incursion into Europe can be stopped by having the Nanny-staters get after them.
Notice the double-standard when it comes to intruding on Islamic practices, "Police have been forced to tread lightly..." If this were a Christian sect in the UK, the police would be in there so fast, the followers' heads would be spinning.
