How do you get "voluntarily" deported? As opposed to involuntarily deported? I would think that all deportation is involuntary, since the offenders obviously wanted to be in this country...

The three family members were voluntarily deported to Mexico. The driver and another passenger in the car, both American citizens, were not arrested.
Bond said the sheer volume of immigrant-smuggling cases far exceeds the government's ability to prosecute all smugglers.
This is rediculous. SEAL THE FRICKING BOARDERS!

Interesting thing is that if you or I run a red light or drive over the speed limit they don't just not prosecute you because of the sheer volume of cases. They at the very least fine you. My niece recently went to court on a ticket for failure to stop at a red light and I was surprised to see that it required a court appearance in the superior court.
I would think that smuggling illegals should warrant at the very least some steep fines and appearance before a judge. How else do you track how many times this person is breaking the law???

when they removed several piñatas from the car and one seemed much heavier than the others.Ten bucks says some lawyer will get her instant citizenship and "government money" for life because she was insulted.
