Images from the Battle of Fallujah (lest we forget or take it for granted)
Yahoo News Photos ^ | 11/12/04

Posted on 11/12/2004 11:27:25 AM PST by Wolfstar

This thread honors the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, and reminds us of why we here at home can go about our daily business in peace. Street-to-street is the toughest type of warfare. Air cover is being flown by pilots from the USS John F. Kennedy, as well as the U.S. Air Force from bases in the area.

Personally, I'm with those who say let's just level the place. But since we can't do that, then shredding it like this works for me.

Just so it gets pointed out this pic is from Jan. 18, 1991

Parting company with the findings of a Clinton administration panel on Gulf War illnesses, a new study concludes more must be learned about the effects of toxic substances on those who fought there. I heard on the radio this morning that Navy corpsmen are serving with the Marines on the ground in Fallujah. All the services are doing their part in this war.

I don't think it takes a rocket scientist (or the media elite) to understand that the events on and since 9/11/01 affected this election outcome in a huge way.

In a decisive way. Moral values? The war against terrorism is the ultimate battle between good and evil.

Typical liberal argument about "stopping the clock", or worse yet, "turning it back".

This is a wonderful thread with awesome photos. Don't use it as a springboard for feminazi propaganda.

Take your feminist bullsh!t somewhere else.

May God give comfort and peace to the families and comrades of those who have fallen. May God guide our actions and make us worthy of their sacrifice.

May God Bless and Protect our President and our Troops as they bring the fight to the enemies of freedom.

Thanks. Am pinging 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub to this thread now.

68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub, I understand you're in charge of the FR canteen. Am pinging you to this thread because I posted it to honor our Armed Forces fighting in Fallujah as we speak. Perhaps you'll be interested in pinging your list.

I tell ya....when you stop and think about what these young troops are doing over there - and for how little some are getting paid to do it - it makes all the little petty, dip$h!t issues we find so troubling pale in comparison...doesn't it?

I'm with you. A thread like this is only a small thing, but if it let's even one soldier, Marine, airman, or sailor know how much this American honors them, then it's done its job. If you do get back to Iraq, please bring my love, good wishes and prayers with you.

The squids and zoomies are doing a satisfactory job flying CAP while those Marine Hornet and Harrier pilots are dropping JDAMs, LGBs, Mavericks, etc. and Marine Prowler crews are keeping tabs via TERPES on the ragheads.

Navy Corpsmen have always served with the marines. The marines have no corpsmen (medics) of their own

Feminist Bull$hit?

Do you have any idea why the middle east is the way it is?

Pull your knuckles off the floor and find out.

I didn't like the way he said..is that a woman?

Women have been fighting beside the men through out all conflicts.

How dare you say that to me. When push comes to shove women can kick-a$$ as good as the next person. You have besmirched all women in the military by that assanine comment.

Don't forget, women voted for Bush over Kerry and you call me personal names.

He looks Asian or Hispanic. An 18 yo Marine of Philipino extraction will not have much facial hair.

I find something very interesting about the pictures of armored vehicles in Falluja. I have yet to see a single picture of the Stryker.

Thanks, I didn't know the Marines have no medics of their own. Still, I'm trying to mention every one of the services on this thread, because they are all doing their part in Iraq. Coasties are helping patrol the ports. The National Guard is indispensible. We should honor them all.
