- HOMOSEXUALS DEFEND SPECTER - NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE: HE'D BE A "DISASTER" - LEADERS WATCHING TO SEE IF STORM SUBSIDES

Members of the Log Cabin homosexual club are coming to the defense of Senator Arlen Specter in his fight to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee. The group, which poses as a Republican organization, refused to endorse President Bush's re-election bid. Yet, they DID endorse Arlen Specter because of his ardent support for four major categories of pro-homosexual legislation in Congress.
A homosexual newspaper in Washington, D.C. says Specter "is a co-sponsor of federal hate crimes legislation; he opposes the Federal Marriage Amendment; backs the Employment Non-Discrimination Act; and has been a strong supporter of increasing HIV/AIDS funding." Not surprisingly, each of Specter's positions on these issues are exactly opposite the platform of the Republican National Convention.
Meanwhile, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) is urging its members to oppose Specter as Senate Judiciary Chairman, saying he would be "a disaster" in that post. The group's website reports Specter said once, "that some nominees for the Supreme Court were reluctant to take clear positions on Roe v. Wade, and .. that he might have to start withholding his support in such cases."
NRLC also reports, "contrary to the impression people might receive from some news reports, Specter has NOT promised to support President Bush's nominees to the Supreme Court. He has indicated that such nominations will emerge from the committee -- but as chairman of the committee, Specter would chair the public hearings on any nominations, and he would have great power to damage a nominee before sending the nomination to the full Senate."
*TAKE ACTION*
Family Policy Network is sponsoring a petition to Senate leaders to stop Specter from becoming the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. The petition is currently receiving A THOUSAND online signatures each day! These online petitions are IMMEDIATELY transmitted to Majority Leader Bill Frist, and carbon copied to every Republican in the Senate.
We must keep the pressure on. Sources on Capitol Hill say they're watching to see if the storm subsides. We can't let that happen.

"Members of the Log Cabin homosexual club are coming to the defense of Senator Arlen Specter.."
That alone is reason enough to double the effort to Bork Spector.
Log Cabin endorses Specter but not Bush. Why am I not surprised?
So, NARAL, the tort lawyers, and the homosexuals support Specter. What next?
Don't they have a recall process in Pennsylvania? Now, is the time to make Arlen (the creep) feel some real heat.
NOt sure if you can recall a senator, but the pressure has really got to be put on NOW!
Absocottonpickinlootly!
Anything the homosexuals want has to be bad for America.
BTTT
The GOP should remove all "log cabin" (a sexual euphamism) clubs from the official websites and directories.
This support only makes specter MORE unacceptable.
How would Specter vote on the FMA now?
He is a nut that needs to be benched.
Homosexual Agenda + Get Rid Of Specter Ping.
(Thanks, EdR, for the alerts!)
All the more reason to give Specter a well deserved boot in the rear.
He is not only a RINO, his ultra liberal social views seem to be in 100% lockstep with Democrats. It sickens me that he won.
If anyone has any info about his chances of getting the boot, please post it!
Let me and Scripter know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
This is starting to really clarify isn't it?

Absolutely.
Senator Specter presents a great danger in the Senate alone, never mind the Judiciary Committee.
But then these Log Cabin types are leering perverts.
They need to haul their logs over to the DemocRAT Headquarters from where their marching orders originate.
