Wow, I don't think I've ever seen so many outright lies in one article in a long time.
"In the planning, proposed segments about Kerry's Senate record -- on the environment, on small business, on foreign policy --..."
"In his 20 years in the Senate, John Kerry authored a grand total of five bills that passed both the Senate and House and became law: Just How Many Bills Has Kerry Passed? (Hat tip: Paul.)
* S.791: Authorizes $53 million over four years to provide grants to woman-owned small businesses. (1999)
* S.1206: Names a federal building in Waltham, Massachusetts after Frederick C. Murphy, who was killed in action during World War II and awarded (posthumously) the Medal of Honor. (1994)
* S.1636: A save-the-dolphins measure aimingto improve the program to reduce the incidental taking of marine mammals during the course of commercial fishing operations. (1994)
* S.1563: Funding the National Sea Grant College Program, which supports university-based research, public education, and other projects to promote better understanding, conservation and use of Americas coastal resources. (1991)
* S.423: Granting a visa and admission to the U.S. as a permanent resident to Kil Joon Yu Callahan. (1987)
He was also author of two bills that became law in modified form:
* H.R.1900 (S.300): Awarded a congressional gold medal to Jackie Robinson (posthumously), and called for a national day of recognition. (2003)
* H.R.1860 (S.856): Increased the maximum research grants for small businesses from $500,000 to $750,000 under the Small Business Technology Transfer Program. (2001)
... and co-authored four joint resolutions that are not technically bills:
* S.J.Res.158: To make the week of Oct. 22 Oct. 28, 1989 World Population Awareness Week. (1989)
* S.J.Res.160: To renew World Population Awareness Week for 1991. (1991)
* S.J.Res.318: To make Nov. 13, 1992 Vietnam Veterans Memorial 10th Anniversary Day. (1992)
* S.J.Res.337: To make Sept. 18, 1992 National POW/MIA Recognition Day. (1992)
Thats it. This is what Kerry has to show for 20 years in the Senate."

In his defense, he cares about dolphins...
One of the biggest mistakes !!! Other than running !!!
Excuses Excuses Excuses ..... Flipped flopped ;-)
"His band of brothers stood on stage..."
"Curiously they also seem to overlook the fact that Kerry's crewmen are all now working for the Kerry campaign..."

"Kerry said he would "never hesitate to use force" and "never give any nation or international institution a veto over our national security." "...
Im an internationalist, Kerry told The Crimson in 1970. Id like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.

"Only six lines of his acceptance speech were devoted to his 20 years in the Senate..."
And from another angle...
"The other party's nomination battle is still playing out. The candidates are an interesting group with diverse opinions - for tax cuts and against them, for NAFTA and against NAFTA, for the Patriot Act and against the Patriot Act, in favor of the liberation of Iraq and opposed to it.
"And that's just one senator from Massachusetts," Bush said

I think his hearing was damaged by blasts from Teresa......
""Unfit for Command" used mostly unsupported allegations to label Kerry a liar who didn't deserve some or all of his combat medals..."
Of course, these spurious allegations were summarily disproved when jfk signed form 180...
"But this time, there was no prison scandal, or anything else, to swallow the swift boat veterans' crusade..."
or, more accurately: But this time, there was no prison scandal, or anything else, to distract the public from the truth...
"It pissed him off, people attacking his Vietnam service."
I know what he means. He must have felt kinda like the million or so vets who he off handidly compared to "Jen-Jiss Khan's hordes". You know, the rape and mutilation stuff...just a "little over top"...
"the White House wasn't about to let Kerry use faith to his advantage, and portrayed him as out of step with the Catholic Church..."
In all fairness, the Catholic Church also had an opinion in this matter:
SEN. JOHN KERRY EXCOMMUNICATED, ACCORDING TO VATICAN RESPONSE
http://www.defide.com/news.html
"attacking Kerry's record on issues of special interest to Catholics"...
I guess "attacking" is one way to phrase it...another might be "presenting facts, with corroborating evidence provided by THE VATICAN"
Oh flipping hell - will they not get over themselves: they've lost and it's their own bloody fault - they have no method by which they can connect with the majority of America, as was made crystal clear by the election - all they can depend on are the coastal and urban areas where Francophilia and minority politics combine substantially to put them over the top.
America's heart essentially beats on the right - until the Democrats understand that, they will continue their decline.

"by naming Vice President Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter to show "we're all God's children."
Nice spin Globe. Definately sounds better than: "I think if you were to talk to Dick Cheney's daughter, who is a lesbian...", or Edwards'subtle as a flying mallet comment, "And you can't have anything but respect for the fact that they're willing to talk about the fact that they have a gay daughter". Helps deflect the fact that these slurs were part of a orchestrated campaign by Kerry-Edwards in order to attempt alienate Bush-Cheney supporters.

Hi, CW:
I just finished the Newsweek Super-Duper-Tell-All about Kerry. I could have sworn that the author(s) mentioned that Kerry was suffering from "Walking Pneumonia" in August, 2004.
Jack.
Only kerry could blame the WIND when he makes a mistake!
I actually read the entire article. One word for Kerry: Loser!
