Weirdest thing about Matthews, though, is that he absolutely LOVES military hawks about twenty-five years after the war has ended. He hated Reagan in the 80s, lauded him in the 21st Century. Is a HUGE fan of Churchill - but somehow I think he would have sided with Mr. Chamberlain (or, God forbid, Limburgh, at the time.) Strange guy.
