Zell Miller for Homeland Security Chief.
Nothing like having a former Marine in charge of security.
Maybe he will be able to convince W that until we secure the borders, there is no "homeland security!"

Kelly

I would like to see NY's top cop (Bernie Kerik ?) as security chief. However, I think he and Rudy are both making top dollar with their security firm so I don't know if they are willing to give that up yet.

This just in to WoC news: ARMY LT. GENERAL WILLIAM BOYKIN TO REPLACE RIDGE.

Now back to PC-America where perky Katie Couric is more likely to be the choice.

This was a demanding and thankless Job. Ridge has done his share.

If Tom Ridge goes, this would be the best job in the Bush adminsistration for Rudi Giuliani. Not quite as high profile as Mayor of the Big Apple, but the right fit. IMHO, of course. If not Rudi, then former NYCity Police Commissioner, Bernie Kereck would be the next best choice.
