If W was a democrat, the nomination of Condoleeza Rice as Secretary of State, would have been hailed as "the bridging of the racial divide in this country." If W was a democrat, the nomination of Margaret Spellings as Education Secretary would have closed the gender gap. Alberto Gonzalez? He would have literally crossed the Rio Grande.
If W was a democrat, the mass graves and burqua covered women would have been enough justification for the Iraq war. If W was a democrat, "No child left behind" would have been the signature educational achievement of the 21st century. If W was a democrat, campaign finance reform would have cured the system of all of the dirty, soft money. If W was a democrat,Miguel Estrada would be Chief justice of the Supremes by now. If W was a democrat, his tax cuts would have benefitted the middle class. If W was a democrat, his deep faith would be lauded as " him being in touch with his spirituality."
If W was a democrat, the deficit would be in line with the needs of the country. If W was a democrat, the Patriot act would be a wonderfully structured piece of terror-fighting legislation.
If W was a democrat, and appointed a cabinet as diverse as this upcoming one, they'd be carving a space for him on Mount Rushmore. If W was a democrat, he would nominate people BECAUSE they are black, female or hispanic. But because he is George W. Bush, he nominates blacks, females or hispanics because he believes they are the right people for those jobs. It's hysterical that the old media will not toss around words like diversity and gender equity, when the man achieving just that is a republican. I'm proud that W is not a democrat. And dare I say, I thank God!
lol. Yes, we'd never win, though. Don't you folks see that the entire premise of this post is a renunciation of Bush? Few would buy my arguments, but, as this post and some responses show, most of those don't have the intellectual bank account to make the payments.
You don't have to say it; everybody already knows you are.
And, BTW, you never answered my reply to you on the other thread.
You actually ADMIRE my posts and your friends agree with me most of the time?
Oh, I get it; this is another one of those "I wish Bush was a "real" conservative" thread, right?
:-)
Cute
We have one now.
I see some purists have set aside this special time to humiliate themselves in public again.
And, speaking of growing your own.....oh wait, that's another thread......
If *W* were a democrat, he never would have quit drinking
Bush's cabinet looks more "like America" than Clinton's ever did.
The problem is that (other than the cabinet appointments) it is not a good thing to be able to note that the libs would love George if he were a dem.
I wish he were governing more like a conservative.

Good on:
War
Tax cut
Honesty
I think you're confused and should read slower and more carefully in the future.
If W were a Democrat, he would have won the last election by 65%. Because the press would not have done their best to tear him down, and instead would have torn up his opponent.
First of all, I can and do make all of my intellectual payments. Secondly, If you read my post as a denunciation of W, then you beeter do an intellectual inventory of your vaccuous skull! All I was (WERE) saying is that the press would report these nominations with a narrative about diversity and other liberal BS. So relax, take your time, and read the friggin' posts more than once if you want to respond. By the way, does it get crowded on the short bus?
Please, am I not allowed a little license here? I were going to reply to you nicely, but since you was so snide I were replying differently.
If 'W' were a Democrap, none of this would ever happen! Even with a black President like Bill Clinton!
We,were,was,w,......It dont matter.
Its still a good post
They're in practice in case they can ever get it turned into an Olympic event.
Please, am I not allowed a little license here?
Sorry B...Ignored my own advice of reading posts more than once, then responding. You WAS grammatically correct. My bad.
