UN staff lose faith in Kofi Annan

UN employees were readying on Friday to make a historic vote of no confidence in scandal-plagued Secretary General Kofi Annan, sources told AFP.

The UN staff union, in what officials said was the first vote of its kind in the more than 50-year history of the United Nations, was set to approve a resolution withdrawing its support for the embattled Annan and UN management.

Annan has been in the line of fire over a high-profile series of scandals including controversy about a UN aid programme that investigators say allowed deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to embezzle billions of dollars.

all it would have taken was for him to share some of the oil-for-food billions with the UN Staff Union and he would be fine.

You know, I wonder -- would having Bill as Secy General help or hurt Hillary's 2008 run.

One way to look at it would be that over and above all the fantastic reasons to NOT want Hillary as President, is the thought of Hubbie/Wife team running the US and UN.

Might be a bit too close for comfort for swing voters.

Everyone who thinks Clinton may replace Annan is overlooking the fact that getting rid of Annan because he pardoned someone involved in a sex scandal with someone (Clinton) who was involved in a sex scandal, makes absolutely no sense.

Could be wrong, but my guess is these instances involve someone not getting a promotion or someone getting an undeserved promotion - something like that, which would tick off those who want to move up on the gravy train express the U.N. has become. Not suggesting there was or wasn't sex involved, or sexual harassment as defined by law. Don't know. Just believe it was about advancement or lack thereof, back of it all.

I just hope Bill Clinton doesn't get his job...

But if I'm gaging the mood at the UN correctly, old Billy-Boy might by the LAST man on earth they'd consider!!!

Personally, I think Benny Hinn would be a good director of the UN...

"I believe in the Cosmic Hologram," said U. N. Secretary General Kofi Annan today when asked how he was going to escape the Oil-For-Food controversy.

IT'S TIME TO TAKE ACTION
REGARDING THE UNITED NATIONS

During the past several years we have seen a marked rise in the global threat of terrorism. Worldwide networks of radical Islamic terrorists have a shared goal of under-mining the national security of peaceful and free nations.

The United Nations was originally founded according to its charter "to unite our strength to maintain interna-tional peace and security". However, it has become ap-parent that leading voices in the United Nations have po-sitioned the organization so that it is increasingly a body that sides with those who find the use of terrorism against unarmed and innocent civilians tolerable.

Instead of serving as a rallying point for free nations and free people to unite to combat terrorism, the United Nations has become a safe harbor, apologist and defender of terrorist organizations and their agents.

Recently it has become clear that none other than the UN General Secretary himself, Kofi Annan, has been implicated in covering up the troubling "Oil for Food" scandal, and stonewalling investigators. The so-called "independent audit" of the alleged misdeeds of the UN's "Oil for Food" program is looking more and more like a whitewash.

Why? Evidence suggests that Mr. Annan and his son, Kojo, may themselves have been involved in wrongdoing in partnership with Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein. High-ranking officials throughout the UN are now suspected of financially benefiting from maintaining Saddam Hussein in power, despite his despotic rule and ties to worldwide terrorism and refusal to accept UN resolutions.

Money from the "Oil for Food" scheme not only went to pay the families of Palestinian terrorists, and journal-ists and officials in countries opposing the Iraqi action, but it looks like it also went to purchase the weapons that so called "insurgents" are now using in Iraq to kill coali-tion forces, Iraqi security forces, and innocent Iraqi civil-ians.

No longer should the United States of America serve as the host to an institution that serves as a forum for oppo-sition to our national interests. Further, the United States should reexamine the extent of its financial support of such an agency.

You can take action right now. Please sign our peti-tion to "Get the UN out of the USA":

http://www.moveamericaforward.org/?Page=Petition

And please pass this email along to others and ask them to sign the petition as well. We want to make sure that we get millions of people all across America to sign on!

We need your help to make sure that this gets shared with everyone you know.

The clinton clone Annan became Secretary General because of clinton administration action. They forced the UN to dump Coptic Christian Boutros Boutros Ghalli because he wouldn't go along with clintonite plans to intervene in the Bosnian civil war by attacking the Bosnian Serbs.

Ever since then, Annan has been a major New World Order flunkie, hobnobbing with the likes of the clintons, Soros, Gorbachev, and Episcopal "Bishop" of California Swing, the chief architect of the "United Religions" (i.e., the New World Religion, aimed at replacing most historic religions, especially Christianity). The goal of these miscreants is to create a "New UN", that will facilitate the move toward a "beyond the nation-state" international-fascist order. Now the Sink Emperor himself wants to be the new UN Secretary General, to succeed his flunkie Annan.

Censoring or removing Annan will not be worth ANYTHING unless it is part of a move to stop the clintons, and the rest of the New World Order gang. Annan is only the water-boy--the clintons, Soroses, etc, are the real powers.

I think that is Kofi with a contingent of U.N. Peacekeeping forces. Note, in the left-hand corner, the French (magenta) and German (blue) peacekeepers.

>>and after Mr Annan had finished his first term, the member states were so impressed with Annan's performance that he was appointed for a second term

In truth, however, member states reappointed this evil man because they feared being called racists if they didn't. Fear (aka, political correctness) is a very powerful force.

Time to send this evil man, Koffi Annan, back to his country.
