WSJ executive Washington editor Al Hunt joins Bloomberg News in January as managing editor for government reporting. "In his 39 years at the Journal, Al has been cited as 'Washington's most trusted reporter,' and "most dynamic bureau chief' before he turned to commentary and TV as a columnist and anchor," writes Bloomberg News editor-in-chief Matt Winkler.

Huh? Washinton's most trusted reporter? Trusted by whom? Al and Judy should retire and start their own blog. I'd be very curious to see how they'd do.

At least the WSJ kept their opinions off of page 1.

Hunt is worhtless. His opinions and ideas are old and debunked.

Yes. The WSJ counter-balances its editorial page with its page 1.

The average intelligence of the staff of the Wall Street Journal just increased tenfold.

Good riddance to bad trash. I can't stand that Bush hating foamer and hated even having to see his ugly name within the pages of my favorite paper.

He should just retire, change his name to Mike, and make prank phone calls.

I'm glad to see him go. I didn't find him trustworthy, but maybe others did. He was very bias against any and all conservatives. The WSJ will be greatly improved by his absence.

Who in the world trusts Al Hunt? Bias and Hunt are synonymous.

Finally, the WSJ can fill that Al Hunt-shaped hole on the opinion page with something worth reading.

Al was about the only part of the Journal that I skipped or wrapped fish in. Or lined my parrots cage with.
