Well, it's the "in a manner which will not bring embarrassment to the President" part which got the agent hung up, apparently, after the Chilean security people closed ranks in front of him. If his superior chooses to chastise him, I would submit that the superior is being petty, given the constraints the agent is required to follow.

That's true, he is probably going to be in the clear on this one. The agent will probably be a bit embarrassed thinking how the man he is supposed to protect had to do a little diplomatic shuffle.

That agent is the President's lead agent. Just recently I was commenting on his intensity when he is watching the crowd.

This guy cares alot for the President. I first noticed him last Thanksgiving in those pictures. Since then, I had been paying attention to him.

He's ALWAYS with the President. It appears the President cares for him as well.
