President Bush is coming to Canada for a visit on November 30 and December 1. The MSM in Canada is going to paint it as a disaster of some type and many assorted Canadian leftists are planning on protesting his visit.
Free Dominion is setting up welcoming demonstrations for President Bush to show him - and all Americans - that all Canadians are not Liberal weenies.
Free Dominion has contacts in the U.S. Embassy, who know and trust us, and they are going to feed us information as to where our welcoming demonstrations will be most effective. We are setting up team captains and will be keeping intel very close to our vests.
As a result of all this, Free Dominion was hacked last night and we are now offline while we try to clean up the mess. We have just rebooted the server and killed the worm that was infecting visitors to the site. We are now in the process of repairing other damage that was done.
The only upside to all of this is it demonstrates how worried the leftist cowards of Canada are that pro-Bush/pro-American voices in our country are gaining strength and volume.
The last time Free Dominion put on a rally in support of America in the WOT we put 8,000 to 10,000 people on Parliament Hill. In comparative terms, that would be like putting ten times that many on Capitol Hill.
For security reasons it appears that Parliament Hill will be closed for all demonstrations, so we will be operating this welcoming differently.
The leftist cowards in Canada have won a little battle today, but Free Dominion is going to kick every one of their butts, when President Bush comes to Canada.
Are Free Dominion folks called "freeders"?
I suspect this attack on freedom of speech was instigated by www.rabble.ca which uses its "babble" forums to encourage this sort of thing against "reactionaries", that is anybody who doesn't fully agree with them to the letter and helps in their fundraising.
We have thought long and hard about finding a name that will match Ann Coulter's "FReepers". No luck so far. We call ourselves Free Dominioners or FDers.
I think it is very likely you are right, but we can't prove it yet. "Yet" being the operative word, we have people trying to ID the perps right now.

Actually, Linux is indeed immune to most of the crap flying around now. You're still vulnerable to phishing scams and spam, though.
We have a Linux server. A hacker just got into our software and inserted virus-laden pages into the site. It didn't hurt our server, but it affected members who hit the infected pages.
Bed Sheets make excellent HUGE banners
Use PVC pipe to make a frame for the banner, like a square or rectangle.
TIE-wrap the sheets to the PVC pipe. The pipe will break down after the Freep, and you can fold up the banner for next use.

Free Dominion is going to do Dubya good when he comes up here. The MSM will ignore us and show nothing but how much Canadians hate President Bush, hate America, hate liberty, love Islamic terrorists, and fear reality.

Well, I was talking about passive infection. In your case, the server was deliberately hacked and viruses planted. Most of the popular worms going around are written for Win32.
Don't take me wrong, I'm not a Linux lover. I think it has a long way to go before it's ready for a lot of things, but it is malware-proof in the sense that most authors don't bother with it.
